Summary: If I didn't already have this game, I wouldn't buy it. It's not my type. Actually, it's not like any other typical video game. No violence? Seemingly slow moving vehicles? This is not why Mr. Nintendo invented video games.
Summary: In the end, Aerowings made me want to put my controller down and turn off my Dreamcast after only a few minutes. Using what I'm sure the pilots would say if they could speak, I can sum up the game as a whole:
Pros: Unique idea, fast load times, lots of levels and aircraft to fly.
Cons: Boring, repetitive mission objectives; lack of depth; poor interface; terrible voice acting and music.
Excerpt: Once again, Dreamcast comes through with a winner. By far, AeroWings is the best looking, best sounding, non-combat flight simulation to ever hit a home system. The planes look incredible; beautiful scenery and great texture mapping.
Excerpt: It was 87 years ago that Edgar Rice Burroughs first introduced the character of Tarzan to the world. Since then he has been featured in magazines, comic books, 26 authorised novels, radio and television programs, and more than 43 motion pictures.
