Summary: I needed a good mixer to both record practice sessions and also to use at gigs when the house has a sound system with no sound person. We are able to set it up at the gig with the same settings we record with and just plug it into the house system via the main outputs (bypass the house board). This greatly improved and sped up the sound check time. It works so well we don't need to do a sound check for balance or effects, just overall volume.
Summary: I've been forced to change my opinion on mixers due to the purchase of this little unit. I've owned Peavey before and had good experiences with their equipment, but got away from their mixers when I bought my first Mackie, twelve years ago. For the last three years I've been using Yamaha mixers. As far as Yamaha goes, I much prefer their motorcycles. After reading the reviews on the PV10, I thought I'd take a chance. Am I glad I did!
Summary: This an excellent mixer it has a warm sound and the effects are as good as the single rack mount type.I used this board with peavey triflex system the sound is amazing, nice and sweet with a keyboard, guitar and vocal plug into the compact unit.
