Excerpt: Using this for live production, purchased primarily due to the amount of XLR inputs, and it serves its function quite well. It's sturdy, I've been transporting it around sans-case (really urging the higher ups to procure one), but it's held up despite numerous bumps along the way (although nothing serious, I do take care of it). My favorite about this mixboard is the variety of ins and outs, but it also provides good clean sound.
Pros: Clear Sound, Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight
"It sounds great. Great features, and it has everything that a band needs to perform out bound."

Excerpt: I think it sounds great, and it does everything that we need it too. The only thing I would like to see change is for the sound person to have controll over the echo amounts. He has to turn the sound down to avoid getting too many echos.
Excerpt: This is the best you can expect to get at this price. Even at the MSRP, it would be a good buy. I am a playwright, and I will be using my SX2442FX to produce radio spots, sound tracks & effects, and for live stage performances. I've been in the entertainment business since 1984, so yes I have more than an idea of what's to be expected, and with the exception of a few bells and whistles found in the high-end mixers, the is truly the best of both worlds.
Pros: Accurate Controls, Compact, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Versatile
