Summary: Did beat matching, long-mix style long time ago but still have all my vinyl. Decided to make a setup for some hobby playing. Ancient Numark mixer's fader was dying so need to get new mixer. Form factor mattered because it needed to fit in a custom case. Price not really an issue. Did bunch of research - then one day came across DX626 and just ordered it - at that price, if I don't like it, I can craiglist it or give it away.I'm mixing vinyl only, don't need effects,...
Summary: I have used this mixer at weddings and it works beautifully. You can't find a better mixer for this price. Easy to use, and awesome sound! The crossfader is pretty good, although it is a little light. Beats per minute aren't perfect. Overall, what really matters is that you provide quality sound, and this mixer does just that.
Summary: I use this as DJ... it is a excellent mixer, the 3 band kill EQ work great, the extra balanced mic input channel is perfect to add wireless mic... the BPM counter is a bit slow, thats ok i don't use it, and the channel control perfect for dj, the price is the best part... most buy for starters.
Pros: Accurate Controls, Compact, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Versatile
Summary: We bought this for a simple DJ gig. Playback was from a pair of laptops running iTunes. The mixer had everything we needed and nothing we didn't; for the price I don't see how you can beat it. The third channel with balanced mic input is what sold me. A very well thought out product.
Pros: Compact, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Versatile
Summary: If you want to do a lot of scratching, you might want to check out something sturdier. But if you just want to do mixing and beat-matching, I highly recommend that you buy this one and save the money for records/CDs/MP3s.
