Excerpt: I produce Internet radio shows and podcasts. Sound quality is essential. I need the "thickness" that professional radion stations have. The MDX4600 gives me this. At first I was afraid because everyone was saying how difficult it is to set up. Then I looked at YouTube videos and found resources that walked me through. It wasn't difficult to set up, in my opinion. And I've never set something like this up before.
Pros: Clear Sound, Compact, Easy To Use, Lightweight, Versatile
Excerpt: This piece is a must for podcasters. Although the user manual is somewhat obscure if you're not used to the lingo, it is very useful to know about what compression and limiting can do to enhance the audio quality of any podcast. I use single channels for microphones and skype audio, and run final stereo mix back through two channels before recording. It has improved the quality of my podcast immensely.
Excerpt: This compressor unit performs its job very well! It has been a life saver in my little church! Two of these units allow me to compress the vocals and guitars, as well as use two channels as limiters for the main signals. The only thing that causes me to give this unit four stars is with its user "friendly-ness".
Pros: Powerful, PRICE, Professional Functions, Versatile
