Summary: I like the small space in the rack and the mixer sounds fairly good. But it falls short, if you want to use this mixer stand alone. The 2 band channel EQ doesn't give enough control over the tone. To get the sound you want, you will have to add a separate EQ to your rack. Also, the effects are terrible, so you'll likely add some external rack for vocal effects. And the most annoying short fall is the lack of channel mutes. I wouldn't buy this unit again!
Summary: The majority of hams probably would not have an interest in this product. The minority who would find it useful are those who: 1) use external professional audio equipment (“Pro-audio”) for processing ham audio for transmitting and receiving, and/or 2) use multiple microphones in their stations. The Behringer Eurorack Pro RX1202FX is a small, multi-purpose microphone/line audio mixer.
Summary: This mixer was purchased as an all purpose mixer for small venues. And a Drum Mixer for large venues. As part of my rack system, it goes where the show is. I have used this in 4 shows so far, it works like a charm. MY ONLY COMPLAINT, the power button on this rack mounted system is in the back.
Summary: If you are looking for an affordable rack mixer with digital effects...the Behringer is the only game in town. It's lightweight and provides 12 channels of mixing power, two band EQ, nice smooth faders, monitor and effects routing and honestly performs great. I am using this with my duo when we are playing smaller gigs, outside shows, and places where front of the house mixing is frankly too much hassle.
All new Behringer Mixers are sadly just poorly made and sound god aweful!!!

Summary: The old MX series of Behringer Mixers sound awesome!!! And they are built like tanks, great build quality, along with most of the UB series mixers as well. But now I had serious stereo phasing problems with a new Behringer mixer I bought model: Eurorack Pro RX1202FX line rack mixer. Let me tell you the pan controls are pure awe-fullness!!!
Summary: I'm not a big Behringer fan but over the years I have used quite a few of their products. Most are lacking to say the least but a few are surprisingly good deals for the money. This little mixer I find to be the latter of those, surprisingly good for the money. I noticed the bad reviews so I needed to add, this mixer works great but only for certain applications.
No EFX footswitch input No way to turn off EFX via a switch
11 September 2007
Summary: Rx1202FX is lacking a EFX input for a footswitch. There is NO way to kill the EFX via a footswitch. No input for EFX kill. The only way to shut off EFX is having to turn the control counter clockwise, which means that you always have to be within arms reach of the mixer.
