Summary: This got to be the best mixer out there. It's simple yet looks complicated. We have been using it on our Radio Station and it is a workhorse with full of features. Durability, excellent. FX, crossover, beats and all that good stuff. It has made our CD's better and recording. Mixing is awesome. Not to mention the effect changes that can be done. We have had it for months and still playing with it and it gets better. Highly recommended.
Excerpt: I do not own studio monitors and as an MP3 DJ sound quality isnt on the top of my list. No sound creeping into the next channel as I was warned about from others. 24khz digital sound quiality so its gotta sound good. PS: not an severe audiophile but wont accept anything under 320 kbps for mp3.
Excerpt: the actual sound is ok, not bad but not really good, there is a huge problem with this mixer, it does not have a volume control for the microphones, so when u turn on the microphone and there is a song playing, the microphone is so loud, and u r not able to control it by itself, u r able to control the entire main output, BIG PROBLEM - I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MIXER TO ANY DJ!

Summary: Behringer DDM4000 Digital DJ Mixer: I've been DJing for many years and have used many mixers. By far this is the best mixer on the market for the money! I'm a big fan of the Numark DXM09 and Pioneer DJM800. The DDM4000 has more features and cost less than both of these. The depth of the DDM4000 is absolutely stunning with XLR master and subwoofer outs plus a crossover for the sub. You can customize the frequencies for the HIGH, MID, and LOW EQ knobs to your feq.
