Summary: This was ordered and my fingers were crossed.....and it turned out....i am not a professional...just a guitar player that wanted to capture my music....i have since recorded dozens of songs and am pleasantly pleased with this recorder....If your looking for studio quality sound...
Excerpt: Mainly, I purchased this product cause I needed a recorder with at least six xlr inputs and didn't have the cash for a Sound Devices. I thought this was gonna be something like an H4n with multiple channels but what I got was the least efficient piece of equipment I have ever owned or even used.
Pros: Good Frisbee, Looks Cool
Cons: Difficult To Use, Maddening, Not Even Flammable, Unnecessary Functions, Weak
Summary: The unit ended up being broken, which is a shame. Got a new one from a brick & mortar. Some functions (like importing tracks) are needlessly complex and glitchy (god help you if the bit rates are different, and even if you get everything right, it still might not work), but otherwise it's stupidly...
Summary: i bought the piece basically for stage performance of music concerts. the gain , assigning of tracks is very good. record quality is excellent. applying inserts needs some detailed study. I have not explored DAW functions yet. over all quality & expectation were met.
Summary: This is a great product. It has a ton of capabilities for such a small package. Use it for live or studio recording. I use it for both and I am very impressed with the built-in microphones. If I had to list one complaint it would be the typical Japanese manual.
