Excerpt: Have used this cartridge for years and never have problems. I'm your casual listener so I have no need for a high end cartridge. I think for most people, this will do just fine. My turntable is a Technics SL-L2 that I've had since it was new; still works just fine.
Excerpt: I have a collection of 60's through 90's rock vinyl records. I use the cartridge just about everyday. For the price, there's no other product that can beat this one's sound quality and durability.
Pros: Consistent, Easy To Use, Excellent Sound, Versatile
Excerpt: I followed the instructions (not much detail) and used the adjustments on my turntable (anti skate, stylus pressure). Put on my old test record and tweaked a little more. Played my new 180 gram audiophile LP. Wow, what a great sound.
Excerpt: Bought this cartridge to replace one that came with a used TT, also picked up a more expensive Stanton cartridge. For the price this Shure sounds really good, and IMO outperforms the Stanton P-mount when used on older records.
