  • Summary: This Behringer Vintage Phaser VP1 Sounds just like the EHX Small Stone. Witch I feel is the best sounding phaser out there. Hey its not built as well as a EHX But the sound is there. if you want a pedle to last 10-years buy the EHX Small Stone. But if you just a good sounding Phaser? Get This Behringer Vintage Phaser VP1 Awesome! Richie Alan.

Excellent Phaser For An Unbelievable Price!!

  • Summary: Behringer did an xlnt job on this one. It sounds warm and is a joy to play. Very little "if any" tone suck. Very cool inspiring pedal when mixed with other effects, delay etc. Paid only $24 bucks for it. Playing thru a Matchless Superchief 120 as well as vintage Marshall's, Fender's, a Mesa, etc. I'm an avid player and collector of guitars, amps, pedals, etc. A gear junkie! Buy this pedal before they raise the price or stop being made!!

Nice Sounding Phaser For Not A Lot Of Money

Janiemack, Bestbuy
20 November 2011
  • Summary: I have only tried three other phasers, a Behringer PH9 & their UP300 & a Voodoo Lab Microvibe.
  • Pros: Inexpensive and sounds great
  • Cons: Speed control knob feels loose, but not a deal-breaker

Nice EH Classic 1970 Small Stone Replica

P. Bruley "Father of 8", amazon.com
1 September 2011
  • Summary: Sounds just like an Electro Harmonix Small Stone phaser. Not strong enough to gig with !!!! But that's a given considering the price. Can't feel the "Click" under your foot when you engage this pedal.

It works well but.....

  • Summary: Does this phaser work? Yes. Does it sound good? Yeah it sounds pretty good. Is it built to last? I highly doubt that it will last to long. This is where the $20 something price tag really shows. The foot switch and the adjustment knob are going to break sooner than later. You always get what you pay for. It will be possible to put a switchcraft switch in and a new pot but by the time you are through you may as well have paid more for a nicer one.

  • Summary: Phasetackular, just need to do the true bypass mod and wish there was a depth control, but very lush old school soft type of phaser. Can't beat it for the money.

Bottom line is this is a very good phaser that won't break the bank.

  • Summary: For the price you really can't beat it. I used it in the studio the other day on a song I was recording and was very pleased with how it sounded. There are phasers out there that are far better but not without spending 5 times the money. This was definitely a nice addition to my pedals and I will use it often because it is very vesatile.

Best $24 I spent on a pedal!

pedalguru89, amazon.com
7 April 2011
  • Summary: I have about 12 stomp boxes, some that cost 10 times as much as this pedal. I gave this pedal a shot because I wanted to use a phaser on some songs in the studio and when I velcro'd this thing to my pedal board, I was blown away! I didn't want to spend too much money on an effect that I wouldn't be using all that often so I went ahead and purchased this so called copy of another pedal, even though I think it has a unique sound of its own.

I'm Diggin' It

Edvis, amazon.com
8 March 2011
  • Summary: Works great for me -- plenty of wobble on 5 under both settings. I'm not revealing my amp or guitar, but gives the suite a very nice texture for practicing and playing single notes. I may do the true bypass modification because, well, why not?

Great Small Stone - like Phaser.

A. Ramirez, amazon.com
10 December 2010
  • Summary: This thing is based on the EHX small stone. It has the same control configuration, and I think the sound is close to the small stone. I have used it with a strat on a solid state amp, and I haven't heard hiss or hum so far. There is some bad reviews around comparing this with the mxr line, but I think the mxr phasers have a total different vibe. So I strongly recommend you to try to listen it before you buy it, and check if it has the sound you are looking for.
