Great for the bucks!

Summary: This Behringer Vintage Phaser VP1 Sounds just like the EHX Small Stone. Witch I feel is the best sounding phaser out there. Hey its not built as well as a EHX But the sound is there. if you want a pedle to last 10-years buy the EHX Small Stone. But if you just a good sounding Phaser?
Summary: Behringer did an xlnt job on this one. It sounds warm and is a joy to play. Very little "if any" tone suck. Very cool inspiring pedal when mixed with other effects, delay etc. Paid only $24 bucks for it. Playing thru a Matchless Superchief 120 as well as vintage Marshall's, Fender's, a Mesa, etc.
Summary: Sounds just like an Electro Harmonix Small Stone phaser. Not strong enough to gig with !!!! But that's a given considering the price. Can't feel the "Click" under your foot when you engage this pedal. Nice for home studio application where you want the tone and want to save $$$
Summary: Does this phaser work? Yes. Does it sound good? Yeah it sounds pretty good. Is it built to last? I highly doubt that it will last to long. This is where the $20 something price tag really shows. The foot switch and the adjustment knob are going to break sooner than later.
Bottom line is this is a very good phaser that won't break the bank.

Summary: For the price you really can't beat it. I used it in the studio the other day on a song I was recording and was very pleased with how it sounded. There are phasers out there that are far better but not without spending 5 times the money.
Summary: I have about 12 stomp boxes, some that cost 10 times as much as this pedal. I gave this pedal a shot because I wanted to use a phaser on some songs in the studio and when I velcro'd this thing to my pedal board, I was blown away!
Summary: Works great for me -- plenty of wobble on 5 under both settings. I'm not revealing my amp or guitar, but gives the suite a very nice texture for practicing and playing single notes. I may do the true bypass modification because, well, why not?
Summary: This thing is based on the EHX small stone. It has the same control configuration, and I think the sound is close to the small stone. I have used it with a strat on a solid state amp, and I haven't heard hiss or hum so far.
Summary: This pedal seems like a long shot at first. Behringer isn't known for making top notch anything. Their amps are weak, their modeling is mediocre, and their line of cheap plastic pedals are sub-par.
