Summary: We bought our new Whirlpool dishwasher in July 2014 but did not have it installed in our kitchen until October of the same year. In May 2015 we had a problem. It would not drain. Called Whirlpool for a technician. We did have someone come in about 10 days. The pump needed to be replaced.
Summary: This was our first dishwasher after ten years of hand-washing. We chose it because it was priced fairly, full stainless steel, good features, and beautiful. And for six months, it worked great. However, after that six month, it stopped working. For over a month now, it sits unused and broken.
Summary: Previous dishwasher never needed repaired in the 10 years we lived in our home. We remodeled our kitchen and chose this dishwasher thinking it would run circles around the old. Not so. The latch broke within the first few months and we couldn't close the machine. Luckily it was under warranty.
don't buy whirpool extended warranty after original warranty expires. go to sears even if you bought on amazon

Summary: I bought a new kitchens worth of appliances in 2007. After my Sears warranty lapsed, I responded to a mailer for more warranty protection. I called and had them add in my fridge and washing machine.
Summary: I purchased this dishwasher because it was on sale. Big mistake. I've had it less than 2 wks, and I cannot tell you how many times I've had to deal with silverware spilling out of the rack. Try something else.
Summary: We have tried everything to try and get this dishwasher to actually clean dishes, different detergents, rinse agents, extensive pre washing, and yet the dishes still come out dirty, especially the cups. It is quiet, but I would take loud if at actually cleaned the dishes
Summary: This is an expensive, but terrible dishwasher. I have owned Whirlpool products and been very happy with them, including my prior dishwasher. This dishwasher looks beautiful and is quiet -- but that's about it.
does everything but actually clean: cargo-cult appliance!

Summary: I am giving this dishwasher 1 star because it does look and act like a real dishwasher. It has a door, racks, it makes "whooshing" sounds, and it has buttons that beep. The numerous mentions of Energy Stars make it sound powerful and glamourous.
Summary: We purchased this in a package deal with our new town home 18 months ago. Initially we had difficulty with it never drying the dishes so we complained and were told that we needed to keep jet dry full to aid in drying and also to make sure we ran the hot water in kitchen sink before we started it.
