Summary: Had this dishwasher for 6 months. I am having trouble with the odor of the stainless steel interior. Have used Affresh dishwasher cleaner as recommended when I called customer service to complain about the odor. Am using Finish detergent and a rinse aid. Still the odor exists. The slots in the silverware basket are too small for my cutlery. Also could use extra fold down shelves on top shelf. Love the extra space and quietness.
Pros: Cleanability, Design, Ease of Use, Energy efficiency, Sound level
Summary: The thing I like most about this dishwasher is the noise level. You can barely even tell when it's running which is very nice. I do think for being a Whirlpool Gold product it is lacking a couple of washing features but nothing I can't live without. The only issue I've had with it is that sometimes it doesn't dry the dishes completely.
Pros: Easy to use, Energy Savings, Sound level, Style
Summary: I wish I'd paid more attention to the design of the rack within the dishwasher. The one I ordered/purchased did not have adjustable tines for making space for larger items, such as pots and pans, mixing bowls, etc. I believe that there is an option to be able to order that type of rack (which I have had in previous Whirlpool dishwashers), and I would highly recommend selecting that option.
Pros: Easy to use, Energy Savings, Performance, Sound level
Summary: After spending the last 5 years without a dishwasher, and since then having two kids, I seriously want to marry this dishwasher. I love the silverware rack in the door-- it leaves plenty of space for large items like my son's disgusting high chair tray or multiple pots and pans. I love the sanitize feature as well. It does take about 4 hours for a typical load, but I just turn it on before bed. It's practically silent so it doesn't disturb bedtime.
Pros: Design, Easy to use, Performance, Sound level
Summary: This dishwasher has made my dishwashing chores so much easier. We had an older Whirlpool that would not remove any food and I think at best it was good for sanitizing. I'd have to make sure they were clean going in. Not this one. My teenage son now helps with dishes since he's only having to open the door and put them in. Love the different wash options and how it looks!
Pros: Convenient Features, Design, Easy to use, Energy Savings, Innovative, Performance, Style
Summary: We had a very old whirlpool dishwasher from 1990 never broken or never replace a part! So when it finally went, so of course we got a brand new whirlpool again, we love our new one it's quiet and the dishes come out spotless I hope this one last as long as our other one did thanks whirlpool
Pros: Design, Easy to use, Energy Savings, Sound level
After first one was defective, next one seems to be OK

Summary: Paid to have installed. It filled with water and emptied but would not wash. Called Whirlpool who sent out a local repairman. He said the pump was defective and it would take about a week to get the part. Decided that we did not want a machine that was defective from day one so contacted the store we bought it from and they gave us a new one, however, I had to pay again to have it installed. The new one works very well however, do find an occasional dirty dish.
