Excerpt: This Whirlpool dishwasher is one of the best that I have ever seen for the price and is essentially idiot-proof, which is really nice considering how some can be kind of overwhelming to even smart individuals.
Excerpt: We purchased this dishwasher several years ago and have really liked it. Even after several years it still runs quietly and does a great job getting the dishes clean. I rinse my dishes off before putting them in any dishwasher. It is very easy to load dishes into both the top and bottom racks and there is plenty of room for a lot of dishes.
Been using this for the past 4 years with no problem

Excerpt: I have been using this dishwasher at least 2 times per day for the past 4 years and it has never given me any trouble. It came with the house that we moved into and it was very simple to figure out. Even my toddler knows which buttons to push to get it started. It has several options for light or heavy loads. I always do the sanitize rinse which I really like. My dishes come out sparkling clean. I also really like the drying option. It will dry the dishes really well.
Excerpt: I have had this dishwasher for over a year now and am still very impressed with it. We bought it after our 10-15 year old dishwasher finally bit the dust. I was a little nervous about the size when I first purchased it, it looks so much smaller than the one we previously had. When I went to purchase it, the guy kept trying to reassure me that it just looked small because it holds "x" amount of place settings.
Summary: Purchased in Jan. 2012, installed myself which was very easy, owned and used for three weeks. Consumer Reports high recommendation was the Whirlpool Gold GU2300XTV which is an older model and hard to find. I contacted Whirlpool and they stated the WDF730PAY took the place of the GU2300XTV.
