Not for heavy use!

Matt, AJ Madison
5 February 2010
  • Summary: We bought this model for our home in fall 2006, and it has been used on average 6 out 7 days a week for the past 3.5 years. We just had the motor go out on us for the SECOND time. The first motor had to be replaced 2 years after we bought it. Each motor replacement cost roughly $200-300. We are going to go buy ourselves a Kenmore, and I would recommend you all stay away from Whirlpool dishwashers all together.

Superior cleaning and capacity

G-Man, AJ Madison
28 May 2007
  • Summary: Super quiet. Capacity has cut down the number of loads we run by half. Looks great in the kitchen. Have used all different cycles and all have performed as claimed by the manufacturer. Love the adjustable top shelf.

Thumbs up for this dishwasher

Do-it-yourself bargain hunter, AJ Madison
22 May 2007
  • Summary: The dishwasher is great so far; better than expected. It was a replacement of a 20+ yr. Whirlpool that still ran (with issues), but this is probably higher end. We got this particular model because of others' reviews, the nylon (non-metal) racks, the better top-rack-lift-adjustment, and it was still available in the bisque color. It has more room for the same overall size, washes great, and is quiet: much quieter than the old one when it was new. I installed it myself.
