My dishes never did dry very good, had to towel or air dry
18 September 2015
Summary: I have had this dishwasher for 13 months and I now have a IE error. My dishes never did dry very good, had to towel or air dry. I give it 1 star for looking pretty but other than that this is an awful machine. I highly recommend NOT buying!
Summary: We just moved into a house that had the kitchen remodeled, including a new Samsung DW80F800. The dishwasher was OK when it was working. It is very quiet. The no-feedback buttons are slick idea, but don't work reliably. It is touch, touch, touch...ding. Kind of frustrating.
Summary: We've had three repairs in two years. The first one (1E High Temp heating error) was fixed under warranty. This was documented with SAMSUNG and they had record of it. The second repair a few months later when it was out of warrant we did ourselves (5E Drain Error).
Summary: We purchased this dishwasher new from Home Depot and from day one having issues. Soap residue stays on the dishes, dishes come out dirty. We talked to Samsung, they sent the tech who looked into it and blamed the water in the house been too hot and us not knowing how to use the unit and not...

Summary: This dishwasher is the complete and utter definition of horrible. We've had it for a little over a year and a half and have had no less than 5 service calls on it. We've had the main board replaced TWICE (both within the warranty period).

Summary: 2 years and 6 repairs. Samsung needs to stay out of the appliance business. The standard errors you'll see are 1E (Heater Element Failures) and 5E (Drain Failure) and last but not least the go old oE (Over water level error).
Summary: Two and a half years after purchasing, the dishwasher (which never cleaned well anyway) stopped cleaning at all. Turned out to be the motor burned out! Dishwashers are supposed to work for an average of 9 years. I was told it would cost $460 to replace the dishwasher motor. Are you joking?
Summary: The features of this I actually really liked. We bought it 15 months ago and have had 3 repairs in that time. They had to completely replace the whole unit after we'd had it for 2 days, then they had to replace the drain hose (defective, nothing we did or could have done to prevent it), and lastly...
