Summary: Absolute junk! Bought it two years ago. Didn't get the extended warranty thinking that "It's Samsung, what could go wrong.?" Big mistake. Three months after the manufacturer's warranty expired the electronic board failed.
Summary: 2nd Samsung dishwasher. Error codes are always coming on. Samsung has horrible customer service. I bought when it first came out. If i knew it was a Lemon I would have bought something else... Like the Bosch I have now. Don't buy it!!! Don't buy it!!
Summary: I have had this thing for just over a year. I got the dreaded LE code and now the thing won't work. The manual downloaded from the Samsung website covers a number of models and does not mention this code. I had to find it using google.
My dishes never did dry very good, had to towel or air dry
18 September 2015
Summary: I have had this dishwasher for 13 months and I now have a IE error. My dishes never did dry very good, had to towel or air dry. I give it 1 star for looking pretty but other than that this is an awful machine. I highly recommend NOT buying!
Summary: We just moved into a house that had the kitchen remodeled, including a new Samsung DW80F800. The dishwasher was OK when it was working. It is very quiet. The no-feedback buttons are slick idea, but don't work reliably. It is touch, touch, touch...ding. Kind of frustrating.
Summary: We've had three repairs in two years. The first one (1E High Temp heating error) was fixed under warranty. This was documented with SAMSUNG and they had record of it. The second repair a few months later when it was out of warrant we did ourselves (5E Drain Error).
Summary: THIS IS IN REFERENCE TO SAMSUNG QUALITY IN GENERAL, not this particular model: The following text was almost posted on the BBB complaint website: "Purchased Samsung DMT400RHS dishwasher in July 2011.
Summary: This dishwasher is the complete and utter definition of horrible. We've had it for a little over a year and a half and have had no less than 5 service calls on it. We've had the main board replaced TWICE (both within the warranty period).
Samsung Appliances are the absolute worst products on the market
Just Another IT Guy, Amazon
13 April 2015
Summary: 2 years and 6 repairs. Samsung needs to stay out of the appliance business. The standard errors you'll see are 1E (Heater Element Failures) and 5E (Drain Failure) and last but not least the go old oE (Over water level error).
Summary: It's love at first sight. She's sleek, She's got depth. Seems adventurous. She's beautiful. She gets her ring and we ride off into the sunset. I notice she's a little sensitive, the controls work, but it takes and extra second or two to get my finger tip heat to transfer and get her to respond.
