Summary: We purchased this dishwasher thinking that we were buying a good quality appliance. Boy, were we wrong! This dishwasher is difficult to load, doesn't hold as much as the 10-year-old dishwasher that we replaced, and doesn't do a great job of getting the dishes clean. I've already had a glass get broken in the top rack because they tend to fall over if you're not very, very careful in how and where the glasses are placed.
Summary: I'm a little disappointed in this dishwasher. Our tall glasses easily tip over on the top rack and they are not getting as clean as I would like. On the bottom rack, if tall plates are lined up and then touched lightly, they all lean over and you must re-position them. These features are very annoying.
Summary: Excellent dishwasher and the price was just right. Lots of features to get your dishes clean. Really like the adjustable shelves and rack spaces. Very very quiet as compared to others we either owned or looked at. Easy to install. Very easy to keep clean.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality
No Heating Element!! Hybrid Drying= Hand drying the dishes!
Summary: Looks good and is really quite and that about all the good I can say. It did clean the dishes well. But I have to "hand" dry the dishes. They call it called Hybrid drying. No heating element!! The manual says it relies on the heat retained by the dishes and the tub during wash cycles to turn moisture in the tub to humidity. The moist air is then pulled into a condensing duct by a fan...bla..bla..bla. It doesn't work folks.
Summary: Pleased with appearance and low noise. Dishes and pans very clean. Cycles tend to be longer than typical, and this uses more electricity. "Flexible" racks are rather weak, and drop down often. Silverware rack holds utensils awkwardly, though serviceable.
Summary: We love our dishwasher cos' it gave us the service we need in having our dishes perfectly clean with a quiet performance. The futures it offers are super convenient for the hard job of getting the dishes clean. We'll widely recommended to everybody, specially to our friends.
Pros: Performance, Style/Design, easy to use, Features/Settings, Quality, versatility
Summary: The dishwasher came with the purchase of my new home. From the moment I moved in to the home, the dishwasher slightly leaked out the front bottom right corner of the door. I finally got around to finding the paper work that said I, indeed, owned the dishwasher and had LG's repairman come out to service the dishwasher. TRIP #1, the guy came with an "engineer" and could not find the leak and told me to videotape the leak.
Summary: It took many hours by email and phone to get to the bottom of whether or not the wash water is heated, and I want everyone to know it is NOT. According to Tish in LG Customer Complaints and Escalation, "The heating strips come on in the final rinse, not during the wash cycle." This is despite the Cycle Selection Chart on Page 9 of the Owner's Manual showing different wash temperatures for different cycles.
