Summary: Washes good, very quiet, but the lower right roller always gets off track when loading, so to get it back on track is fussy because now you have a loaded tray of dishes, Anyone else has this problem?
Summary: After about a year of using a dishwasher that barely functioned, we broke down and bought a new dishwasher. We did weeks of research before purchasing the LG. I love the top drawer, steam option, and extra rinse option (we have hard water). I also love how very quiet this dishwasher is. As for the negatives, the dishes do not seem to get very dry. Even with the extra dry cycle.
Summary: I had a KitchenAid, which I loved, but we moved and needed a new dishwasher. A new KA like the one I had was insanely expensive. (Prices had gone way up in just three years.) This LG was more than $500 less, had a high temperature sanitizing rinse, and was the only other dishwasher with a third rack, so I took a deep breath and bought it. First, the good things: Wash quality is great as long as the water is hot enough, which makes sense.
Summary: I love the look and ease of use. It's quiet as a mouse which is terrific. I only have one small issue with it. I just don't think it dries as well as it should. I'm not in love with it like I am all the other LG appliances we have purchase this year. Still a good value, don't get me wrong.
Summary: "This LG Dishwasher has some very nifty features like a steam cycle and adjustable racks. It also operates quietly and efficiently if you believe the customer reviews online, but what else are they saying? People appreciate the stainless steel design, but were a little put off by the eco-friendly longer clean/dry cycles. Also of note is this unit doesn't have a garbage disposer, so occasional cleaning might be necessary.
Summary: I am optimistic this dishwasher and I will have a great relationship, but there is definitely a learning curve. I use extra dry and my dishes are still wet. I read another review so I will try their advice. Had not bought a dishwasher in so long, learning the new technology is tough.
