Summary: I have been a loyal Kitchen Aid customer for years. When our last dishwasher, a Kitchen Aid, needed to be "retired" we purchased the double drawer model. What a mistake. My dishes (normal size) do not fit, if dishes are left in over weekend they mold from excessive moisture and the top drawer leaks into the bottom. We have had numerous repair calls only to have the repairman say this is the way this model performs.
It's A Crime Kitchen Aid Takes People's Money for This Thing

Summary: After inheriting this unit when we bought the house 9 months ago, we have had a constant stream of repair techs coming to try to fix the reason why the unit will not: A) run thru an entire cycle without stopping (misaligned optics) B) actually WASH the dishes we put in the unit (we were told to completely rinse EVERYTHING off the dishes, utensils etc prior to loading-defeating the purpose of having a dishwasher) and C) stop leaving strange and weird film and marks on our...
Summary: I hate this dishwasher.i've had mine for about 5 years. It's never needed a repair, but I did need to replace the grid which the silverwear basket sits on. I went online & saw it was $50 dollars!!!!!!!!! I proceeded to send an e-mail to the CEO of Whirlpool ,telling him exactly what I thought of their product, and the error of their pricing strategy ......... I did recieve a phone call from a Whirpool VP who apologized & sent me the part for free.
Summary: I have been pleased with all Kitchen Aide items I purchased in the past, and wanted a double drawer dish washer for my newly remodeled kitchen 5 years ago. My husband and I looked into purchasing this model. At the time, we could find only 2 dishwashers that had double drawers and couldn't find any reviews on either one. Taking our past experience with Kitchen Aide appliances into consideration, we purchased this.
Summary: For such an expensive dishwasher it is horrible. It does not clean well. You need to basically wash the dishes before putting them in the washer. The drawer tracks have a piece that breaks very easily and costs about $75 to replace each time. I thought the brand Kitchenaid would be of higher quality and at the very least clean the dishes. The 10 year old dishwasher I had before this one worked better. If I could give it zero stars I would.
Summary: I find this dishwahers is quite and cleans well however, it is really small and frustrating to load. My dishes have to be tilted or they don't fit and I must take out the second dish rack to load glasses - which means the glasses are "free" in the drawer and can move around. In my research the key to not haveing the drawer open when washing and leaking is in the installation, it is critical to have someone who has done these before.
Cannot believe kitchenaid does not recall all of these

Summary: This is the worst dishwasher ever made - noisy , leaks, does not clean dishes. Do not buy this product - $1,200 down the drain. Kitchenaid customer service acts like they have never heard a complaint on this product. Very disappointed.
Summary: I agree with the reviewer who would give this product 0 stars if possible. I have had this dishwasher for a little more than a year and am planning to get rid of it as soon as I can. It has performed horribly since day one: -- does not dry dishes properly -- does not always wash dishes properly --drawers are too small for large or tall platters or pans -- racks are not designed for efficient loading -- and, most recently, I discovered black mold all over the top drawer!
Summary: I bought these dishwashers and had them set up on each side of my sink to have to keep from bending due to back problems. THAT is the only benefit to these dishwashers. I was doing an updated kitchen and though they would look sharp. Well, that is the ONLY good thing I can say about them. Cleaning my kitchen is now a nightmare as you can hardly fit anything in these.
