Summary: If I could, I'd give it 3.5 stars. I bought this as a replacement, purchased "bisque" color version of this dishwasher but basically the same on everything else. PROS: * ZERO electronics panel to go bad, MANUAL control knob ALWAYS works! * Large enough to put most of the dishes inside, even wine glasses * Cleans dishes fairly well CONS: * Loud (but I can leave the room) * Ugly steel panel across bottom makes it looks dated * Makes strange, loud noises during cycles...
Summary: I don't feel that it cleans my dishes all that well. Also the utensil dispenser is easily broken. The tips on each end which holds them into place break off too easily. Mine have already broken on both large holders.
Summary: We bought this dishwasher online after our old GE of 7 years finally kicked the bucket. We wanted something that would be efficient and durable, it is all those things and more. Since we did order it online it took about to 2 weeks to get here, but it was worth the wait. We have well water, so the filter on our old dishwasher had to be cleaned quite often, but this new one has a self cleaning filter already installed. It is very quiet and makes my dishes sparkle.
Summary: I've only used it a few times since I installed it, but it's about about 5X quieter than my old one, which was touching 20 years. All the same, my main complaint is the top botton design. It's not bad per se, but annoying in a way since they end up sitting under the counter almost and I have to program it before closing the door. I guess it still beats turning a knob though. Overall, I'd say it's a good dishwasher that I got for around $400.
Summary: My daughter purchased this washer for us in JAN 2011 to replace my 13 yrs old basic dishwasher. To this date I have no complaints on this dishwasher. It cleans thoroughly no matter how dirty the pots and pans, dishes may be. The control panel is very easy and comfortable to use. The dishes fit perfect and can easily accomodate tall items. What really continues to impress me is how quiet this washer is. Honest! I can't tell if it's on unless I get my ear next to it.
