Summary: Amazon page is very messed up, so I ordered a kitchenaid dishwasher and got a GE. I am very happy with the GE. It is a simple machine, no bells and whistles and I did not get taken to the cleaners. The price was for the GE. I highly recommend this dishwasher as it is not noisy, but fairly quiet.
Don't compare to more expensive models, and this one is great!

Summary: After comparing various dishwashers - from low-end, $200 models in a a "scratch and dent" sale to mid and upper range ($1500, which felt ridiculous), we settled on this model for a couple reasons. First, it was available to purchase from ABT which is one of the best places to buy appliances in the country even if you live a couple thousand miles away from their showroom. And second, its a very basic and very good priced machine.
Summary: I guess I was expecting more from the dishwasher. It doesn't seem to be as good as the other one. The dishes don't get dry at all . I had the heating element checked,it works. It just doesn't work as well as it did.I just can't say too much, except, I wish i had done a better job of looking at all the models.I can say , I won't ever buy another one.
Summary: We have this unit in our home, and it was put in for us by the listing agent... It does not get that warm inside, so I have no idea how well it sanitizes the dishes. I can ope it on the hot cycle and grab a piece of silverware. If you have a dishwasher worth anything you should not be able to do this. And it is odd to me that it does not hold as many dishes as a normal 24 inch machine, but the trays are not well designed especially the top tray.
Summary: This dishwasher looks great, very contemporary. Has good features and seemed to be a value. The only problem with it is that it does not wash anything well. Glasses look dirty, plates look wiped down instead of washed and silverware just looks bad. We pre-wash everything and use Cascade and Jet Dry and even with these, this dishwasher just doesn't cut it. We have tried every setting and light loads and nothing works.
Summary: The last GE I will ever own. I should have learned my lesson from the GE refrigerator (and phones) I purchased a few years ago. Does a good job when it works but it acts as if the control panel is partially fried... sometimes it works properly, sometimes it won't run, and sometimes it runs but not the selected cycle. I'm considering just writing it off as a total loss and scrapping it!
Summary: I've had this dishwasher for 4 years and it has never completely cleaned dishes that weren't hand-washed before putting them in here (and I use a top of the line detergent along with Jet Dry too). If there is any trace of thick or sticky food like peanut butter on a knife / spoon, or dried egg yolk or piece of pasta on a plate, expect to find it remaining & stuck to whatever it was on....or even small bits of it stuck onto other dishes/utensils.
