Adequate portable, nothing to rave about, overpriced

Excerpt: I would only buy if you can't build in a washer. I bought it to replace a rusted out Kenmore portable in our summer cottage. Way over priced when you consider it is a bottom line model, no features, mechanical timer, very similar to a $200-250 built in but they charge $350 to put a sheet metal box...
Excerpt: This dishwasher is the best $600 I've ever spent. When we moved into my current rented house, I wasn't concerned that it didn't have a dishwasher because I was in college at the time and didn't mind doing a few dishes.
Excerpt: Good dishwasher. It is easy to use and easy to move around to the sink. Dishes come out clean and rinsed. There are several different option settings on the dishwasher. It is very easy to hook the dishwasher up to the sink to use and it is quiet when it runs through its cycle.
Excerpt: We just bought our first home, it's an older home without a dishwasher. Instead of sinking the money into redoing the kitchen cabinets to put in a dishwasher, we got this one. Being compact it fits perfectly in our kitchen and the counter top adds portable usage in the kitchen.
Excerpt: I bought a used one off of Craig's List for $100. It's the worst $100 I've spent in a very, very long time. It *does not* get the dishes clean. It not only leaves a chalky white residue on all the dishes (except glass, for some reason), but it also deposits sand and grit!
Excerpt: I received my portable dishwasher second hand while living in a rental that didn't have a dishwasher and it turns out that our first home didn't have one either so it has been a wonderful item to make my life easier.
Excerpt: We use this dishwasher on a daily basis in my home. This dishwasher does not do a good job of washing the dishes, even on the hottest wash setting. We have tried everything, and our dishes still come out with a nasty film on them. The washer takes forever to finish, and runs very loudly.
When you dont have room to buld one in, its portable!

Excerpt: For what it is, it seems to be working great. Not every home comes with a built in dishwasher these days, so to be able to roll one in and out when you need it, is nice. You do have to drain it though your sink and sometimes that can make a mess.
Excerpt: I am very satisfied with this dishwasher! It has made my life so much easier!!! I have had it for about a month now and I use it every evening. Before I was having to wash all of our dishes by hand and that was so horrible!
Summary: I have a GE potable dishwasher this is the worst dishwasher I have ever owned. I have 2 hour cycle sucks. I have to wash my dishes because this washer don't remove anything. GE at one time was a good brand not anymore less quality for the higher price.I hope you build a better jet engine than a...
