Summary: We have a GLD2250RDC1 dishwasher that is very loud, especially when pumping water out. The regular clean cycle takes about 90 minutes to complete. After 4 years of ownership, we dug out some old dish/glassware from storage and ran the unit in the "High-temp" wash mode and without the heated drying mode for a few washes. After that, the tub started leaking from the bottom at the rear connector for the heating coil. Water is dripping down off the power connector.
Summary: I am surprised to see any positive reviews on this product. Maybe there's hope there's a fixable problem with mine. Myself and at least one other person I know with this product have consistent problems with terrible rinsing. Constantly having to hand-wash items, glasses and cups especially, that have a fine 'grit' on them after the cycle is complete. Also, the top rack falls off the back-left rollers almost every time I pull it forward.
Summary: This is a basic dishwasher. It cleans the dishes. That's what I wanted...but I was suprised that it seemed smaller thn my old one. It's exactly the same size, but I can't fit as many dishes inside. Plus it only has one basket, on the bottom rack, for silverware.
Summary: We bought a Frigidaire dishwasher last summer. It never worked and it fact we had to stop using it because we felt it was dangerous. There is a design flaw in many Frigidaire dishwasher models (check out epinions) that causes the electronic control board to malfunction. From what I can tell it has something to do with where it is in relation to the steam venting from the hot water. The best case scenario is that your dishwasher doesn't work.
