Summary: I really like how quiety this washer is. Our kitchen is right by our living area, so it's nice to be able to run it while you're watching TV or chatting, and still be able to hear what's going on. I also really like the sleek look. WARNING--You need to run dishwasher cleaner through this sucker every 1 -2 mos., especially if you live in a hard water area like we do. If not, the calcium in the water will gunk up your system and burn out your DW motor.
Summary: We bought this diswasher about a year ago and just before the warranty ran out the circulating pump started squeeling during the wash cycle. Warranty service was great and they fixed it without hassle but I'm worried now if the new pump will do the same thing. Service guy said it would be a $250 to $300 fix w/o warranty. Might as well buy another dishwasher. Cleans great when it works though and pretty quiet before the squeeling.
Summary: I purchased this dishwasher 1 year and 9 days ago. 9 days after the manufacturer's warranty ran out and I got an "error" message and it wouldn't run. After THREE weeks Fridgidare finally agreed to fix it since I bought all of my other appliances from them. Lowe's went to bat for me and talked them into it. When the dishwasher works it works well but the guy is at my house now replacing a part.
Summary: This dishwasher has been quiet so far. That's the good part. However, it's somewhat awkward to load taller items to keep them clear of the moving parts and now, after only four months of use, the gasket won't stay in place. So far no leaks, but the gasket keeps sticking and these little plastic splash guards fall out and all of it has to be pushed back into place. Clearly, not a well made product.
Summary: We have had this dishwasher for just over a year. Thursday we will have the second repair visit in less than 3 months. This dishwasher stinks like garbage after the first time it's used. Running the clean cycle, with or without the special cleaning liquid doesn't make a difference. The machine does not clean silverware very well either. It's advertised as being quiet, but it's not much quieter than the 20+ year old dishwasher it replaced.
Summary: Like so many that I've read about in here, I've only had mine two months and the motor has already gone out. The repair guy came today and said it would cost $180 to replace (of course I won't have to pay for it...) So I went back to Lowe's and they will gladly replace it. I told them that I've read about a poor guy who's already replaced his motor three times, and that I want a different model. True to Lowe's excellent customer service, they said "No problem.
Summary: Ive had mine for about 5 years I think, but started having problems after about 2 years when power dry motor went out. At first the unit was super quiet but within about a year and up till now it is about as loud as a cheap model. Just finding out that the circulation pump went out. Add up cost of parts and repair and I'll do better buying a new dishwasher. Google this model and you will find many people having many many problems with this model. Id stay away from it.
Summary: We have had this dishwasher for 5 months and service repairman has been out 3 times for problems. The drain pump went out first then the fan that dries the dishes and an error code to dry kept appearing . It would cut off right before it started to dry. Frigidaire replaced it with great customer service.
Summary: I have only had this for 3 weeks and I am not pleased. I bought it to match my Frigidaire refrigerator (also a waste of money) and it was a mistake. The door is heavy and you really have to yank on the handle to open it but the handle doesn't seem sturdy enough to handle the force required to open the dishwasher. The inside of the dishwasher is not laid out well. I could load way more dishes into my old dishwasher than I can into this one.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable, loud, wasted space
