The company has horrible customer service

Summary: Do not buy a Fisher&Paykel Appliance. The company has horrible customer service. We have one of their refrigerators, the water filter for it was discontinued. Fisher&Paykel happily charged us for a order they could not fill then transferred us three times before someone could be bothered to authorize a refund on our credit card. They didn't even tell us that there is an alternate water filter available from Maytag.
Summary: My husband wanted this dishwasher in our motorhome. We are fulltime RVers, meaning we live and work in our RV. I cook, he washes dishes. He installed it himself but finding all the right fittings was frustrating and took several trips to Lowes and Home Depot. Reason, there are no directions for the special fittings needed that do not come with the dishwasher. It did come with 2 small dents in the front stainless steel door which I wasn't happy about.
Horrible Company - They do not stand behind their products.

Summary: Be careful buying a Fisher-Paykel product. They're great when they are working, but you are in for a nightmare if something goes wrong under warranty or need service. They are a horrible company at standing behind their products. I know from personnal experience and will never buy another one.
Summary: I purchased two Fisher Paykel dishwasher drawers in 2005. Mine has been completely trouble free from day of installation. I've never had to call for a repair or maintenance. I understand others have had problems, but wanted to give the other side. I have two drawers of the same size, one above the other.
Summary: The info below is regarding the DD24SCX7 standard height (~16") classic front (flush handle) model. Installed this in an Entegra Aspire RBQ motorhome. A similar Fisher-Paykel model is factory installed in the more expensive Entegra Anthem and Cornerstone which have the same cabinetry, so I knew I had a factory designed place for it to go.
Summary: I bought this dishwasher to install in my motor home. Space was a major issue and this was one of the few that would fit. Loading plates, glasses, and flatware is very easy. Odd items like bowls or baking dishes are much more difficult to fit well. Pros: Washes very well Low water usage Flexible loading options Quiet Locking drawer (locks when RV is underway) Cons: Long cycle times Filter has to be cleaned Small capacity compared to full sized units Installation was very...
Summary: Got this for my RV...easy install and the project worked out much better than I thought. If you are looking for something like this for your RV, I replaced my LP oven and salvaged the cooktop for reinstall. It will work in most RV's . Good luck!
