Best product ever!

Annette W. Canale, Amazon
27 July 2013
  • Summary: I bought a double Dishdrawer eleven years ago and was thrilled with it. When I moved four years ago, I bought a new one. Never had problems with either one and I run it every single day. I talked my sister into buying one 4 years ago and she has no problems whatsoever. Even my 90 year old mother bought one and loves it. I imagine complaints come from families who have mutiple people using the Dishdrawer and not being careful ie kids.

Worst appliance I've ever owned

Mary, Amazon
10 April 2013
  • Summary: This was the worst appliance I've ever owned. My wife and I purchased the Fisher Paykel DD603/DS603 double dishdrawer model in 2006 when we were building our new home. The salesman from the appliance store said it operated quietly (which it does, when it works at all) and would go well with all the other high-end appliances we were buying for the kitchen. It worked ok for a few years, then started experiencing a lot of problems with the controls.

This is the worst Dishwasher

ang, Amazon
8 October 2012
  • Summary: I have a fisher &Paykel double dishwasher for 5 years since my kitchen remodel. This is the biggest mistake I made in all the new kitchen appliances I purchased. 1) No matter what you do, the water just get collected on the bottom. Even if you finish a wash, you get a pool of water. Since we don't have much dishes, we just use the top, the bottom drawer started to grow these black worms. I had to run the washer a few times to kill it.

Getting Rid of It

Lindae "Niina", Amazon
13 August 2012
  • Summary: I love the idea of this, and got one because my darling husband refused to put his favorite dishes in a washer that takes us 2 days to fill. So, we always had an eyesore of a countertop dish drainer taking up space, not to mention the guy never put those dishes away either. (He just used the drainer as his personal storage.... not a character fault mind you, just an annoyance.) The Fisher Paykel looks great and would be wonderful indeed if it actually washed dishes.

The WORST - don't buy

F G Keick, Amazon
13 July 2012
  • Summary: I regret buying our Fisher Paykel dishdrawer each and every time I use it. It truly is a waste of money...and the company does NOT stand behind their product. They blame everyone else, will NOT offer to make the customer happy and basically take up a bunch of your time in hopes that you'll get frustrated and go away.

Worse mistake in our 33 year long marriage

Dorothy N. Smith "Buffalobsa", Amazon
21 June 2012
  • Summary: Never mind the repair problems! This machine is incredibly poorly designed on all levels, way too expensive. I seldom use mine because: It's difficult to load as the doors want to roll shut. Try to load a dishwasher with one hand while holding the drawer open with the other? Nonsense. The prongs on the racks are extremely flimsy, bending with the least pressure. The water from the top dishwasher flows down into the bottom dishwasher.

The WORST ever!!! DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!

Meryl Sultanik, Amazon
22 April 2012
  • Summary: I can't even begin to tell you what a lousy product this is. I rue the day we bought this. Unfortunately, it was the only one that fit under our counter due to the deminished clearance because of the tile flooring. We tried others but had to settle on this. It does not clean well at all!!! There is a constant residue of minced food particals that stick to the glasses, especially the plastic cups.

Junk

home guru one, Amazon
20 March 2012
  • Summary: Do not buy this product. It will not last more than 2 years and after that nobody will know how to fix it so you will spend too much money trying to fix it. After that you will just buy a new dishwasher. believe me i've been there.

GOOD IDEA ON PAPER BUT NOT SO IN USE

idget "mellowde", Amazon
13 March 2012
  • Summary: Seemed like such a good idea. Two drawers would be so useful for storing and washing alternately between the 2 drawers. But that only applies if it worked. The unit leaks, does not clean properly at all nearly all the time and is very noisy. It has even broken some of my dishes with it's rough treatment inside. In practice using it I've found that dishes need lots of room around them for circulation which somewhat defeats the idea of the 2 small drawers.

FIRE HAZARD NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

pmarlow, Amazon
6 March 2012
  • Summary: FISHER & PAYKEL FIRE HAZARD BEWARE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE In 2004, we purchased a two drawer Fisher & Paykel dishwasher. By 2009, we had six service calls and had invested enough in repair costs to purchase a second machine. I asked FP to declare the machine a "lemon" and replace it. There position was "wait to see what happens next". So, earlier this year, my wife and I were sitting in the kitchen at our breakfast table and started to smell smoke.
