Summary: I don't even know you, but I'm trying to do you a really big favor... We bought this dishwasher about 5 years ago (plus or minus a year) at Lowe's when many of the very helpful reviews on this site had yet to be written. In my many years on this planet, this may be the worst purchase I have ever made. As an aside, I CANNOT believe this product is still being sold!!!
Excerpt: This dishwasher is very quiet, but this is it's best feature. The gasket that seals the door gets pulled out of position when the lower basket is slid out. The stainless steel front panel has water streaks on it and they cannot be cleaned off even with stainless steel cleaner. This dishwasher is not as good as other brands that I have owned and they cost half as much. This is an average dishwasher a premium price.
Excerpt: 1. Very quiet. 2. Cleans well. 3. I push start. Sometimes nothing happens. You have to push other settings also. Manuel is not clear and what to push to get machine to run. After fiddling with controls, it works fine.
Excerpt: I purchased this dishwasher just over 6 months ago when I remodeled my kitchen. I wanted a dishwasher with a smooth stainless steel front so buttons wouldn't show and get pushed accidentally. This dishwasher is very quiet; I often find myself checking to make sure it is on! The stainless steel inside does leave watermarks after running and I have to use the hot water setting to get everything clean. Overall it looks great in the kitchen and does clean my dishes.
Excerpt: Only after 2 years, the controller board failed. We are waiting for a replacement part but only because we couldn't afford to buy a new dishwasher at this time. Prior to the failure, the product did not clean as well as advertised. I had to use the hottest water and the longest cycle for it to get the dishes clean. The best thing this product offers is it quietness. You can not tell whether it is on it is so quiet.
Summary: After little more than three years and running 2 X per week all lights flashing. Recommended repair people surmised the control panel needed replacing after they spoke with Electrolux. Replaced today but unit still fills and then immediately empties. Only thing left is the motor. Replacing the control panel was $150. To replace the motor is $100 (not under warrantee) plus about another $250 in labor as the entire machine has to be pulled out (based on 2 hours +).
Excerpt: To date this dishwasher has been very quiet. I love that part. We find that only the heavy duty cycle works. The normal doesn't seem to get the dishes that clean. We are now at 1.5 years and the electronics have gone bad and now it doesn't work. I guess we will see how well the service folks do now and how much it will cost. I would recommend the washer, not sure I would say it is amazing but that was my only option.
Excerpt: Attractive dishwasher, with sleek controls (blue LEDs). All stainless interior, with nice coated racks. Room for lots of stoneware and cookware, able to reconfigure the bottom rack to allow items to lay flat. Good support for glassware, including support for wine glasses. Generally cleans pretty well, and has heat and sanitize modes for an extra boost. There is no top rack only mode. Very quiet in most modes.
Excerpt: For some reason, all the dishwasher soap does not dissolve completely. It does not seem to get the water as hot as it should, and at times the dishes don't all come clean. I have an Electrolux oven and Hybrid cooktop, they are great, but I must say I am disappointed with the dishwasher.
