Summary: I had this model Electrolux for three years. The wash pump went out .The display gave me a error code #ER 03. (Wash pump not operating) The Service man informed me today it would cost me $485.00 Part & Labor.(no thank you.) Needless to say ..I will never purchase another Electrolux Dishwasher. Buyer be ware !!!!
Summary: We've had ours for about 16 months. The pump has been sounding lousy for a month now and just went out the other day... gave us an 'error code 11'. I'm not sad however because it has never cleaned our dishes and it is very frustrating to load. I'm going to replace it with a kitchenaid I believe. Looks cool though... maybe I'll use it as a shelf in my garage.
Summary: We purchased an ICON suite and after initial installation problems were solved the refrigerator and range are fine. The dishwasher however is a piece of garbage. And that includes the garbage left on the dishes. After numerous service calls, we have decided it's just a bad design. Energy efficient means not cleaning efficient according to the last service man. 5 different companies. You can't get dishes clean when they are continually rinsed with leftover wash water.
Summary: I had the same problem as others. The repair service got the leak kit, replaced the computer board, etc. Finally, the 3rd or 4th visit, he ordered a sensor (which he didn't understand wasn't part of the leak sensing kit), and it's been working for about 5 months straight now.
Summary: We bought three electrolux appliances 4 year ago for our new house, including this dishwasher. Within two years the electrical panel "corroded" on the dishwasher (the repair guy said it was typ for this model, water gets in to it because of the poor design). Electrolux gave us a replacement panel in "good faith" for free, we had to pay the install. Two weeks ago it failed again - same problem, the panel "corroded".
Summary: Buying the "top of the line" dishwasher I thought I'd have a good one that would last a good 10 years. Thirteen months after buying the pump went out and was replaced. The service man was able to help us get Electrolux to pay for the part. Now, three years later, the same problem, no water pumping into machine. Service guy replaced pump and still wouldn't work. He called Electrolux & they said it must be a "board" because then he couldn't get it to power up.
Summary: I am half deaf and still cannot believe how loud this thing is. We have a large house and no room is safe from the noise of this appliance. It does not clean well. The tub is horribly stained and it leaks periodically. We purchased the entire Electrolux line for our new kitchen and could not be more disappointed. Good looks and poor performance all the way around.
Avoid- doesn't clean well and nothing but problems

Summary: This looks pretty and one would think the higher end would get you something good but it doesn't. We have had four service calls in 5 weeks, nevermind two of those weeks were after we moved in and couldn't use because of a bad gasket and leaking. The gasket was replaced and then the door wouldn't stay closed. Service person thought maybe he put the gasket in too tight so ordered another and two days after 'fixed' it did the same thing.
Summary: I am now on my second Icon dishwasher. Electrolux replaced the first one because it could not be fixed. And by "fixed" I simply mean clean. The second one is just as horrible. NEVER do dishes come out clean. The customer rep that was on the phone with the repair man reminded me of a used car salesman. "The customer should use powder detergent". Oh, then why did Electrolux PROVIDE the Cascade gel when I purchased it?! I humored them and switched...... no difference.
