Summary: Excellent little dishwasher. We purchased this 2 years ago and I have had no problems with it. It cleans great and I am very pleased with it. I call it my Barbie doll dishwasher because it is small and fits perfect in the spot that was made for. I highly recommend this if you need a small but great dishwasher.
Summary: For the money - this is an amazing buy. The need to replace my condo size dishwasher was a challenge, since the cost of most brands at this size doesn't seem worth it. The price point of this Danby made the risk worth it to me. Two years later, I could not be more pleased with its performance!!!! The only drawback is that the mechanisms for the two drawers are cheap and often annoying.
Summary: . My son and daughter-in-law bought an older home when their first child was born. The old dishwasher was broken and there were so many dishes to do with a new baby. For Christmas we my husband & I) decided to find an apartment sized dishwasher to replace the old one. It took research to find the right size and quality, but we did and now every one is really happy that we got it.
Summary: I've had this dishwasher for nearly two years now and felt that it was safe to write a review. It was a bargain plus free shipping, so I was a bit skeptical. Turns out it was worth every penny and more. The dishes (if loaded correctly) come out spotless, even the glasses and all I ever use are the dishwasher packet squares, no extra finish liquids. The only thing I am not thrilled about is the power light remains on, after the cycle is complete, until you shut it off.
Summary: Unit was very nice, had to call for factory (good) support. Manual was not clear. Pause/stop button caused blinking. Usually blinking to me means pause. NO on this unit, blinking means it is running....Not stated in manual. So I was trying to run when unit was paused. Also took some time to figure out the symbols on the front. Packed very well but some where in shipping the unit shifted and the front leg got bent. Was not obvious on inspection at arrival.
Summary: I like the clarity in the way Dansby has communicated with me from ordering to delivery. My search began based on recommendation by a company called Women's Work. My actual experience with the product will not begin for a few months.
Summary: With so many conflicting reviews I almost did not buy this dishwasher, but I'm glad I gave it a chance! What I like about this dishwasher: It fit the small space we had available 18" and not too deep 22" It works GREAT! The dishes are coming out sparkling clean. Follow the directions, use only a tablespoon of powdered dishwasher detergent and use the rinse assist product like Jetdry.
Summary: 1/2 the size inside as my previous dishwasher. NO drying feature; heating element only heats water, doesn't dry the dishes! Might as well do dishes by hand then. Customer service hard to reach, returned unit, but had to box and ship at my own expense, plus they charged a 15% restocking fee. Paid 429, but will lose at least 150 to return. Will go back to Sears and Kenmore.
