Summary: Mine went bad after 3 years. It started leaking because of a hole in the metal that was located under the door seal. Fillled it full of JB Weld and now it leaks somewhere else. The 2 repairmen (1 Bosch Certified 1 not) I had come out gave up trying to locate the leak due to the complicated design of the guts of this machine. Next time i will ask a repairman what dishwasher to buy.
Summary: I previously owned a Kenmore dishwasher for 14 years. I never pre-washed dishes and everything, including dried on eggs came off great. Even though it was still going strong, I remodeled and replaced my dishwasher with a Bosch. There are many things I don't like about it. First of all, it doesn't clean as well as my Kenmore. I am hesitant not to pre-wash. I hate the rack set-up. Unless you are using china the prongs in the racks are way too close.
Summary: This dishwasher has great sounding design like plastic on lower level. The problem is this dishwasher does not dry the dishes completely. Plastics rarely dry occasionally glass does not dry using max jet dry setting. Buy one with a good drying element in it.
Summary: We have an older model similar to this and after 4 years, the handle is cracking and it's only a matter of time before it completely breaks. I called Bosch to ask about this and the guy I talked to admitted that there was a problem there but would not do anything about it. The replacement part costs $74 and obviously it would cost far more than that to have it serviced.
Summary: Inside parts broke quickly. Arms stick, folding racks broke, detergent dispenser has never worked correctly, I could go on and on. Suffice it to say, a bad decision. I am never going to be able to by the brand again. Even the sound insulation around the door immediately fell off and does so repeatedly.
Summary: We purchased this Bosch diswasher about 6 months ago and we're very disappointed with it. It just doesn't clean dishes well. We often have grit left in cups and bowel and utensils that aren't clean. It's frustrating to re-wash items that didn't get cleaned the first time. Our old Whirpool dishwasher did a MUCH better job than this more expensive Bosch does.
Summary: VERY quiet. Hardly know that it is running. Problem is that mine, from brand new, would not clean dishes. The soap would kick out of the soap tray as per normal operation, and after the cycle was done. I would see the soap un-dissolved and the dishes were still dirty. I tried the supplied cube soap as well as the recommended Finish powder soap. There was water in the unit, so something is happening, but I wonder where the water is going?
