  • Excerpt: Had this machine for about 4 months now and so far well pleased. It's fairly easy to install overall but you need to read the instruction manual which you can also find on Baumatic's website and is clearer to read there. The door was easy to fit using the handy template provided to mark the screw positions. Found levelling the machine to be a bit fiddly but there is a screw on the front to adjust the rear feet.

  • Excerpt: Over the last 6 weeks we have had Baumatic out every week to repair this product. It continues to show an E3 error and they have changed a lot of parts. As a resolution they have offered a replacement on the proviso we pay £120 for it. To me it beggars belief that they can produce a clearly faulty device and then want to charge us extra on top of the £90 per visit maintenance charge and the extraordinarily long waiting times.

  • Excerpt: Having bought this machine for our new kitchen, we have been extremely disappointed. Having previously had a Hotpoint which was easily loadable, top shelf held glasses & mugs etc in place and stayed on runners, bottom shelf able to load right to the edge and even when loaded to excess, still cleaned almost everything, this machine is the complete opposite! There are no prongs on the top shelf to hold cups, mugs etc.

  • Excerpt: Since purchasing this product in July 2005, I have had nothing but trouble. It has gone wrong a total of 17 times, and I spend more time washing dishes by hand that I do actually using the dishwasher. When it does work the dishes always come out feeling gritty and dirty and everything is very wet, So much for convection drying! As for the fault, it keeps displaying E4 which means the dishwasher has too much water in it! Ha Ha there isn`t actually any water in it at all.

  • Excerpt: Had one a little over a year now, no complaints about the cleaning and no e4 errors either - mechanically has been ok for me. BUT top tray rollers fall off regularly and the cutlery basket has already disintegrated. That said, my last one was a Gorenje which was pants and before that an AEG that only lasted two years.

  • Excerpt: Had this dishwasher just over a year.Yes the same old E4 fault code appearing.Rang customer services who would basically tell you nothing or how to fix the fault, they wanted to rip you off for £85 to send some guy out to repair it & you could guarantee the fault code would reappear.Ihave cut my losses & ordered a new machine.NEVER get involved with this dishwasher & steer clear of baumatic full stop until they improve their customer service & improve their machines

  • Excerpt: This machine is rubbish, stay well clear of any Baumatic products. The after sale care is also rubbish, I am saving up to buy a Bosch dish washer.

  • Excerpt: Foamed up and flooded the base. (Under the cavity). If you get the E4 again I`d suggest tipping it backwards about 45 degrees to drain the base. Put a large towel on the floor, lots of water!! Lying it on it`s side can upset the water management system. If you`re using 3 in 1 tablets do not put rinse aid into the machine as this can cause overfoaming. Don`t put soda crystals, bleach or washing up liquid in it as this also causes overfoaming.

  • Excerpt: Just moved into a new house, for us, which has this machine fitted in the kitchen. After two weeks totally fed up as it regularly requires 2 washes to clean the simplest dishes and now has come up with the error cade E4. Having read a number of reviews we are off to the sales tomorrow to have it replaced.
