This camera plainly sucks

C. Day "Charski", Amazon
24 May 2014
  • Summary: I bought this for my stepmother a couple years back for Christmas. About that time, she started exhibiting signs of senile dementia, and couldn't figure the camera out AT ALL, even though I showed her how to use it a couple times. Finally my Dad gave it back to me a couple months ago. I thought, great, I'll keep this in the kitchen to take shots of food items to post on a forum I enjoy. NO way can you get anything useful from this thing!

Simply the worst I've ever used

Jay Dee "James", Amazon
5 February 2014
  • Summary: First off I bought this to use outdoors on clear days while on bicycle rides. It is the worst camera I've ever used ...period. Overall design is fine. Focus, If you can call it that is not ...NEVER once got a clear photo out of it in any setting of any configuration. Flash is a manual shot by shot selection. There is no zoom for photo review. Fuzzy hazy blurry pictures EVERY time on EVERY setting. Reverted back to my iPhone 5..

It is a crime that this camera is allowed to be sold!

P. Breakfield IV "Tom Steele", Amazon
5 May 2013
  • Summary: I was shopping at a store that was having a moving sale and picked it up at about half price. I am an experienced photographer smd own a Canon 7D and do a lot of "enthusiast" shooting and have even had some of my photos published in magazines. I say this not to brag but to point out that I am experienced in digital photography and know my way around digital camera and photography. I have two kids.

  • Summary: I bought this item some time ago. I does what was advertised. I am satisfied with the purchase. My granddaughter in law loves it- 7 y.o. [This Amazon's requirements to post no less than 20 words is annoying! Really. 10-15 words would be more reasonable.

Huge Disappointment

J. Higginson "QuiltMama", Amazon
2 August 2012
  • Summary: Bought this camera just before Christmas 2011, mainly because it was advertised for $49 (supposedly half price) and at a quick glance it seemed to have all the features that I was looking for. I need a small, lightweight camera that can take very good closeup shots. Wow, this camera is awful! Every single photo I've taken, whether they be closeup or distance shots, have come out extremely grainy and blurry.

  • Summary: For the price, this is a great camera! It's easy to use and is loaded with features. I definitely recommend especially for digital camera newbies.

Don't waste your money

Amazon Customer, Amazon
27 July 2012
  • Summary: I had a similar experience with the other reviewer that said the pictures were always blurry and that it seemed to be stuck on some strange setting (even though I scrolled through all the settings menus). Also, a few of the photos appeared warped! Unless you like fun-house type photos don't bother with this camera.
