Basic Camera

25 March 2015
  • Excerpt: I bought this camera for my five year old. It is better than a Fisher Price, but that is about it. It is very slow to load and to process after taking a shot. It is only good for stills.

24 February 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought the camera for my son. It had to be simple, and it is, but the shutter speed is too slow, and all the images come out blurry
  • Pros: Small / Compact
  • Cons: Lag / Shutter Delay, Poor Image Quality, Poor Image Stabilization, Poor in Low Light

  • Excerpt: This is a fixed lens camera which explains the price. It takes ok pictures but the zoom is digital and very slow to use. I needed a quick camera that my wife could take on vacation when hers broke just before we left. I will buy her something better and give this to my 7 year old.
  • Pros: Easy To Use, Good Image Quality, Small / Compact
  • Cons: Limited Zoom

5 November 2012
  • Excerpt: You can find no better company anywhere in the world to provide for your photographic needs than B&H; however, I'd recommend putting a few more dollars into your purchase and getting a better camera than the Vivitar which seems to produce pictures with muddled clarity.
  • Cons: Poor Image Quality, Poor Image Stabilization
