BLURRED LIFE

amazingpug, Ebay

  • Summary: I LIKE THE FEATURES OF THIS CAMERA IF ICOULD FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE IT TAKE CLEAR PICTURES. NO MATER WHAT SETTINGS I SET IT ON IT STILL TAKES BLURED PICTURES. IF I CANT GET IT TO WORK RIGHT, I FIGURE MY MONEY IS WASTED. IT IS NEW TO ME AND SHOULDN'T BE THAT DIFFICULT TO USE, AND I LOVE THE SIZE, BUT NONE OF ALL THIS MATTERS IF IT DON'T TAKE GOOD PICTURES.

  • Excerpt: The Vivitar - ViviCam F529 Digital Camera is actually my 15 year old son's camera but I use it more often than I use my own digital camera. He ust got it in April, so he's not too crazy about that fact, but he sure doesn't mind using any and everything of mine that he chooses, so I don't mind using his new camera when I want. Besides, I paid for it! (He hates it when I say that, but it's true!). It cost me about $100.00, and it came from amazon.com.

  • Excerpt: Pics dont come out good and I had to sit in different ways to get a good pic. Even outside I still had shady pics and inside...forget about it doesnt work. have to put in batteries all the time. Hard to navigate and read the camera in the back. Have dropped and nothing happened. Have to use batteries ALL the time. Easy to carry or put in purse.

  • Summary: Doubly disappointing as it was bought as a gift. Right from the start, the picture quality was so grainy, it was comparable to that of a 4 megapixel camera. Anti-shake virtually non-existant. No user manual supplied - just a pamphlet in various languages, leaving you to have to work things out for yourself. General panoramic photography just about acceptable but the biggest single let-down has to be LACK OF DEFINITION, absolutely ESSENTIAL for selling items on eBay.
  • Pros: Style - it LOOKS good
  • Cons: Official report says it all!

  • Summary: A neat well made camera that is easier to carry without the bulkiness of SLRs. I don't use the "Auto" settings as I like to manage the photo subject, light condition responses and overall quality myself. I do not recognise the camera that is reviewed else where. It is a good useful camera that produces resonable photos when adjusted to the conditions that prevail at the time of taking them.
  • Pros: Allows user to manually set options to achieve the finished photo - versatile. An SLR it is not but produces good photos when treated well.
  • Cons: Bit too thin for large hands! Screen difficult to see in sunny weather - but

  • Summary: The reviewers on this site got it right, and I wish I had read it before purchasing. This camera is a complete letdown. Every picture you take (even those at 14 MP) are fuzzy beyond belief. There is nothing you can do to improve the quality either. Not good lighting, not a tripod...nothing. My old 7MP Kodak puts this thing to shame.
  • Pros: Absolutely nothing!
  • Cons: Everything.
