Question: video mode on camera doesnt have sound?

I just had a birthday party and i recorded a couple of videos and im uploading them onto my computer right now and i just noticed there isnt any sound?! i was wondering does the vivatar 8225 record sound for videos?

    I called tech support they said it doesnt come with sound...garbage!
