Summary: It is a good camera with a beautiful color, the camera takes beautiful pictures and those pictures are huge when you see those in the computer. The only thing that I don’t like of this camera is that it is big and I want another smaller. However if I compare the price with how much successful that it is, the camera is an excellent camera.
Summary: This camera, is a great deal for the price, it takes really good day pictures outside, and the zoom works great. I was impressed by the price and quality of pictures, I added a storage memory card and this is a great camera, the down side is it does take batteries, Although I went to rechargeable and found I can change them and charge them quickly.
Summary: I have been selling on ebay for many years but never had a digital camera. I finally took a chance on this one. WOW! I wish I hadn't waited so long. It was so easy to use, I was able to start taking pictures without even looking at the manual. I like the fact that it has the optical zoom as well as the digital zoom, it makes you feel more in charge.
Summary: Easy to use. Easy to download pictures to the computer. Feels very light while holding it but is otherwise sturdy enough for general photography purposes. This was purchased as a beginner camera for a friend. Major purchasing influences were number of megapixels and ease of use. The person this was purchased for loves the camera, especially since the last one she bought was less than a megapixel in quality. This is a huge step up and she's loving it.
Excerpt: I bought my Vivitar vivicam 3826 a couple of weeks ago and is perfect because I only wanted a basic one. It's got a 2304x1728 resolution, 4.0 megapixel, 1.5" LCD display, auto flash sensor, optical zoom 3x, digital zoom 6x. You can use the camera's memory, or you can use a SD card. In addition to still images you can record short videos using the movie function.
Excerpt: I consider myself to an amateur photographer, only using a camera for special occasions and holidays. When I do take photos, I take hundreds. (On my trip to New York I got through a roll of film a day!) This can be quite costly, so last Christmas I decided to hop on board the digital camera revolution. I did my research and decided to go for a camera with at least 4m pixels, optical zoom, that was under £100.
Excerpt: I have owned my vivicam 3826 since March this year and can say for its price,it is an excellent performer,on to the main review then. Price: £60 to £64 (possibly lower now). Excerpt: This camera was bought in the sale at argos for £79.99. Features that attracted me to it was that it has a higer pixel count than my previous digital camera and also had optical zoom *3. This camera has the features that you would expect from a digital camera with a movie feature. You can play back the movie, but on the camera, only with out sound. But when transfering it to computer you are then able to hear the sound .
Pros: was cheap for 4 mega pixel camera
Cons: eats batterys much mor quickly than other digtal cameras
