Summary: Bought Christmas - Just over 1 year ago. Lens stuck No help even 1 day after warranty expires No service centers - No mail-in factory service Looked locally for repair - no one will touch it. It's a throw-away camera Lousy Vivitar Customer Service - Actually non-existent Won't take another for free.
Summary: Bought this as a backup for my Canon; Frustrating to use: touch screen is difficult -- need to tap icons multiple times before they register; not easy to target selection, keep hitting the item above or below; sliding to scroll thru selections is iffy. Screen is useless in sunlight, difficult to see what you're aiming at. Also - images seemed to have a blue cast to them, altho I have not yet looked at them on the computer. Technology is intriguing but not there yet.
DON'T BUY IT IF YOU WANT A GOOD CAMERA THAT WILL LAST YOU A WHILE!!!

Summary: I recived this camera for a christmas gift (a little over 2 years ago). It worked great once I was able to get the cd-rom installed on my computer. It wasn't top of the line, but it got the job done. after 1 and 1/2 years usig it, one day it just quit working. The power wouldn't even come on.
A "snapshot" of photographic history. Buy for sentimental reasons only.

Summary: Ah, my first digital camera! Has a viewfinder and basic calculator style info display, but there is no "screen". Looks and operates exactly like a film camera, aside from the ability to set size and quality. Using the flash too often causes the batteries to get very hot. Not the best photos (just look at the megapixel count), but holds a lot of sentimental value as my first experience with entirely digital photography.
Summary: I bought this camera for my daughter, so that when we go on family trips she will be able to take as many pictures of things that she wants to take so then she will have her own special memories of the trip.
Summary: I like shopping on e-bay for the convienience ....my interests are mostly for music, electronics, and computer equipment...ebay is a fun way to shop, and I am quite satisfied with all of my perchases so far....love you guys...Dennis...
Summary: The Camera was easy to use, no bells & wistles to worry about. Digital cameras are expensive in New Zealand where I live, so will use this for photo's to trade me ( our equvilent to ebay) and if I see something with higher mpeg valie, will check it out, and put 3.3 Vivitar up for auction, and get my purchase price back.
