Buy one while you can find them: Best value for the money at this point

Mahlers2nd "The Resurrection", Amazon
16 September 2014
  • Summary: Readers Digest Condensed Version: If you are looking for a top-notch DSLR that can also take decent videos without breaking the bank -- grab one of these while you can... and while you are at it, search for some vintage Mionlta AF lens. This will provide you with everything you need and comparable results to camera kits that are now costing between 1200 - 1500 dollars depending on your lenses.

Couldn't be happier.

Naven Johnson, Amazon
23 July 2014
  • Summary: Just a great camera. And the 18-135 is a great lens. Too many pluses to list here, but there hasn't been a moment in the last 2 years that I've regretted buying this. Don't let the Canon/Nikon die-hards sway you. You'll be hard pressed to find a better line of SLRs than the Apha's.

Love my A65 fantastic camera

Mike, Amazon
16 July 2014
  • Summary: Love my A65 fantastic camera, great results and very user friendly. It small design is a blessing on shoots, the Oled viewfinder is an amazing feature and helps and is fantastic for on the go shooting and quick adjustments to the exposure. So many great things about this camera but I will sum up and say as a working photographer I love this camera and has become my go to camera for all occasions.

A great camera if you don't need the weather sealing of the a77!

Dave, Amazon
11 July 2014
  • Summary: I did not need the extra weight, or fancy extras of the a77, so I got this one. Since it has the same image sensor, I knew I would get great photos. I can not say enough good things about this camera. A lot of people complain that the sensor is "noisy" but I don't see it unless I'm shooting at some crazy high ISO.

Great camera!

Alejandro Molina, Amazon
27 June 2014
  • Summary: Overall I highly recommend this camera. I was looking for a camera that would take good pictures and great video. I did a research on many cameras and I decided to go with the sony a65. It has tons of feautures, it is light and feels good on the hand. The only think that I don't like is that sometimes when you try to take many pictures fast it freezes and you have to turn it off and on. besides that problem i think it is a good camera.

A65V

J.F., Crutchfield
5 June 2014
  • Summary: I have had this camera several weeks now, and really like it. I find the controls to be very user friendly. Most functions/settings that you need to change quickly, have quick control buttons to save time instead of searching thru menus to change settings. The picture quality is great, the LCD screen is easy to view. the menu list is easy to navigate when you need to.
  • Pros: ease of use quick settings changes picture quality
