Summary: This item was purchased a a backup camera body for my NEX 6. The price was very reasonable and the camera was in new condition as advertised. During the last two weeks of use, the camera performed flawlessly. If anyone owns a NEX camera, this older model ,the NEX 3, makes a reliable backup even though it may lack some of the features found on the 6 or 7 model. Good to grab while these are still available! Shipping was prompt and the packaging was excellent.
Summary: I love this camera, and it's compact size is great without being too small. At first I was nervous that there weren't going to be enough buttons to quickly configure everything manually, but I have not found it to be an issue since the buttons can be reprogrammed. Image quality rivals DSLRs and the lineup of lenses for the Sony alpha cameras are great, too. Occasionally, in bright sunlight, the screen is hard to see, but tilting the screen a little usually fixes that.
Summary: Chose this camera after reading many reviews. It has the APS C sensor size, the largest available on moderatly priced mirror less cameras, at the price of much less capable cameras, as well as a great feature set. It does not disappoint! I also have a much more expensive Fuji XE1 and I wonder, after using this Sony NEX-3, if the Fuji is worth the difference in price. This Sony was cheaper than buying another lens for the Fuji and now I have a backup camera.
Summary: I received an open box Sony Nex-F3 from 6ave on 1/16/14. 6ave describes it as "Camera Body Only (Black) New in Open Box". Except for the 18 to 55mm lens and body cap, everything listed in the F3 manual was in the box. This includes a strap, USB micro cable, AC adapter to charge the battery in the camera, manuals, software disc and paperwork. The Sony F3 box shows signs of wear. The menus were set to English.
Summary: This is an awesome camera for the money. It takes very good light pictures and is not to heavy to hang around your neck for log periods of time. It is very easy to figure out. If it sets for a while you will need to charge the battery - but that's not that big of an issue for me.
