Summary: This camera is great. It is easy to use, takes great pictures, and touch screen is very responsive. The only downfall to the camera is when you have a large lens on it. The camera is really off balance and can be hard to take quality photos. Overall I would not hesitate to buy this camera if you are thinking about it. It has been a great investment.
Summary: This camera can be used as a point and shoot or DSLR. For quick-and-dirty picture taking, I bought a 30mm Sigma lens which produced very sharp pictures. Then, I bought an adapter ($20) to use Minolta and Sony lenses, and now I have a great DSLR with so many Minolta and Sony lens sets availability. Great fun camera! Strongly recommended.
Summary: This camera is amazing. The picture quality is phenomenal. An amateur can pick up this device and begin taking great photos. I will not pretend I'm an expert and recite specifications or my personal stress test. Once dimension that can use improvement is the continuous shooting feature. At times, it takes the camera a bit too long to process an image which means you can potentially miss a good shot in the sequence.
Excerpt: I will not rewrite all the dithirambic comments. the camera is truly what all these revies are talking about. What I will say is that this is IMHO the future of DSLRs. A lens mount, a sensor, a touch screen, a battery pack fitted in the smallest possible shashi. I use it with a 70-400 G and a LA2 adaptor and people try to figure out what this is! i use wireless strobes with it as well as shoot 6400 without a second thought.
Summary: I love this camera. I have more expensive, higher megapixel cameras, but they don't give me better around the house pictures of my daughter. The automantic iso setting allows this camera to go to 3200 iso and at that setting it gets really nice low light pictures. The 24 megapixel cameras that I have give me more noise at 3200 and less good images in low light.
Excerpt: It was great from the first shot i love it but prefer it with 16-50 tobe pocketable Problems: The menu is kind of confusing but finally i used to it ,you ha the voices in video mode is not clear ve to buy the microphon because
Summary: So I spent weeks looking at cameras, going to different stores, trying various cameras out, and also asking around. I ended up stumbling upon this one and haven't looked back. The interface is extremely friendly, and it pumps out awesome pictures without much effort. This was my first DSLR/micro four thirds/whatever you want to call it camera, so it's been great at helping me learn the basics.
