Beautiful pictures, light & compact, took some time to master the controls
16 March 2015
Summary: PROs: Lighter and more compact than my Nikon DSLR, and the picture quality is at least as good. The controls took some getting used to after using SLRs for a few decades, but they are reasonably intuitive now that I'm accustomed to them.
Summary: I bought this camera for my 14 year old daughter. This camera has the options, picture quality and finesse of a larger, bulkier camera but is lightweight, easy to use and (perhaps most importantly to her) it looks great.
Summary: The short: A great versatile, super compact, reliable camera, that takes great still photos as well as Beautiful video in 24 & 60P in full 1080P. This review is a LONG time coming, as I bought this when it first came out, but here it is!
Great performance, used wisely can lead to amazing results

Summary: I'm a non-professional photographer and this is my daily camera. I have nothing to say about the aps-c frame, which is the same as those you get in most DSLRs nowadays. Focusing is rather fast, street documentary is easy and fun with this camera.
Summary: Bought this to replace our old SLR camera, and I have to say this one blows the other out of the water. It's not for the new guy/gal to start off with because there are A LOT of settings that allows you to change how the pictures look. You are also able to take movies with this.
Summary: I purchased this camera because of a family recommendation. We have a small child and capturing smiles can be challenging. This camera is wonderful! The continuous shooting setting has finally allowed me to capture the 'quick baby smiles' I had been missing with my other camera.
Summary: I bought this camera about a year and a half ago. It was my first step up from a point-and-shoot and, as such, was a real eye opener. I was quite excited about what was possible with the larger sensor size and flexibility in a "real" camera.
Summary: This camera is great. It is easy to use, takes great pictures, and touch screen is very responsive. The only downfall to the camera is when you have a large lens on it. The camera is really off balance and can be hard to take quality photos.
