Excerpt: Having used this camera for 5 years, I must say it has completely responded to my expectations. I see that today Nikon issues a "no-nonsense" full frame no video camera, and this is exactly what the Alpha 900 is. The sensor is an important part of any digital camera, and the one in the A900 is fantastic.
Better than I could have imagined! Great value for the money.

Summary: I bought this for a friend who wanted this camera for some time. I hear DAILY what a awesome camera it is! The pictures in the hands of an artist are simply breath taking. There is NOTHING to dislike about it!
Summary: EXCELENTE CAMARA, UNAS DE LAS MEJORES DEL MERCADO (SI NO LA MEJOR)SU RELACION PRECIO-CALIDAD ES PERFECTA. NO LA PROBE HASTA AHORA DEMASIADO PARA SABER SU RESISTENCIA (NO SE OLVIDE QUE ES UN PRODUCTO USADO) AUNQUE ES FUERTE Y ESTA HECHO MUY BIEN. LO UNICO QUE NO HACE ES FILMAR, PERO HAY QUE RECORDAR QUE ES UNA CAMARA PROFESIONAL, HECHA PARA PROFESIONALES PARA TOMAS DE IMPRESIONATE CALIDAD. NO COMPRENDO LA PREGUNTA DE COMPARARLA CON PERSONAS??
Excerpt: I like it so much. it's top line of Sony DSLR since Sony Bought Minolta, So I think Sony would put all blood and souls on it if Sony want to share a fair percentage of DSLR market! I am so happy now, it looks very MAN Feeling and many eyes can be fixed on it when I was in some parties.
Awesome Camera. If I had to buy this at full price I wouldn't have bought.

Summary: I have been using Sony DSLR for several years and was looking for the next level camera to help me make the jump to the next level. This camera has now taken me there and I already see some of the difference I was looking for. Although I'm still learning all that it can do. I know it will make the difference I'm looking for.
One of the best full frame camera that is going extinct

Summary: It is most unfortunate to see Sony has seized manufacturing this amazing full frame camera. The last of its kind with Sony as they have switched to their Translucent Mirror Technology. No longer can one see through a traditional prism and see the actual image of what is to be shot. To actually see the image through the prism makes a world of a difference, especially in low light situation, where the Translucent mirror gives the image onto an electronic viewfinder, even...
Summary: Hi all i love the a 900 but i got the camera really Dirty and dust every where thank god there was Non inthe sensor every thing is good the camera Works great but my only concern is why they Didnt clean it for 2000$ they should have When you try shooting with full frame you feel The difference and by the way my second one is the A77 which a really solid camera which i also got From ebay.
Summary: The Sony A900 is AWESOME ! Only problem is that more than half of my lenses are non working on this model. Have been a loyal addict and user of the A55 & now the A65 for over a year. Have loved the Sony AF 16-105, but am now looking for new lenses. The full frame sensor is worth all the money that it is worth. It sure gives you the extra bokeh that most photographers are looking for. Can't wait to get the 85mm F1.4 and the 24-70/2.8. But that will have to wait for now.
Conclusion: I own this camera for about 1 year and for my kind of work , this is the best camera (value for money ) i can buy. The noise is a bit high if you go above 800iso...but my photography ( mostly studio portraits ) is in the area between 100-400 iso en very exeptionel 800iso. Because i am working almost 20y with minolta equipment , this was the logical choice to make and i don't regret it !

Cons: To much noise above 800iso...but with the wright RAW software you get very goog results ! Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom ore not the best Raw -converters for the A900 if you want low noise at high iso but the easyest to use. For my work still Lightroom is the best. The only probleem if you want to make portraits with this camera are the AF points that are centered to much in the center of the frame. AF points closer to the edge of the frame would be better is you want...
