Summary: I love my camera. This is a blast. So I was hoping that it would work well with my old Minolta Lenses and it does. I have a 35-80 mm lens and a 100-200 mm lens. I am thrilled. We spent and afternoon in the park and over to my daughters with my Grandchildren. I took a few shots, some very good. Then I introduced my daughter to my new camera and 300+ pictures later....yes, seriously.
Summary: Old camera that takea outdated memory card and just isn't that useful in today's camera market. For cheaper than this I bought a brand new 2014, 20 megapixel Sony dslr HighbrId camera from best buy once I got my money back for the return of this camera
Summary: I use this almost on a daily basis for in studio work and photo trips. With a good lens it is a sensational value. Sony cameras are the Photographers dream tool. I regularly use 3 of them almost daily. The SLT-A65 and SLT-A77 are the ultimate camera for any Photographer. I love all three of my Sony's, especially my A350 work horse. Simple but powerful under any condition.
Summary: I bought the Sony A65 when first released. After 2 years and thousands of photos I continue to be impressed & delighted with the photos it produces. Previously I had four years of very positive experience with the 10 MP Sony A100, which was Sony's first DSLR. When I was ready to upgrade, Sony had proven it's quality. Also the Sony Alpha series accepts my old Minolta lenses. The higher resolution of the 24 MP A65 was calling to me -- it has delivered stunning results.
Summary: This is my first foray into the DSLR realm. I have been using 35mm and my trusty Minolta Maxxum for years. Was glad to find this camera body as it lets me continue to use my Minolta AF lenses. The old lenses and new technology works flawlessly and seamlessly. I have re-awakened my enthusiasm for photography with this combo. Seller was fast and even included 2 batteries, a charger and filters with this body.
Summary: my Sony Alpha A350 worked great for years (about 5) until one day all pictures began being moved and out of focus, this problem was due to the Super Steady Shot Image Stabilization stop working, this sensor got moved for no reason, my camera never got hit or was dropped, I guess it moved thru all the years of operation, after some research, I found out this problem is common in all Sony Alpha series, fixing this sensor would cost @ $300.00, I prefer invest that money in...
Summary: I loved my purchase of a Sony A-350 camera, however, my colleague, Roxanee Grunig of Gualala, CA wanted the same camera and was swayed by a New York City Amazon.com camera owner and was told it was dusty. He convinced her, for the same money to purchase a camera A-390 of lesser value . She agreed to the purchase but I think she got horn swaggered. My A-350 cost $1,600 new and the A-390 cost $525. new.
