Excerpt: I bought the Sony Alpha A100 DSLR in August of this year. At this time, I have taken just over 5000 photographs with it, using about 10 different lenses. Each and every Minolta Lens I have, works beautifully with this camera. All settings are easy to use, and understand. Pictures are sharp, and clear. The anti-shake is marvelous!.. even if you’re hand is unsteady, you’ll still get a nice, clear shot! The camera is perfectly sized, and feels wonderful in your hand.
Excerpt: I used to think my sony 7. 2 megapixel digital was good until I found this one. For less than 600 dollars, the Sony Alpha 10. 2 Megapixel Digital SLR is one of the best cameras out there. Considering the picture quality, easy to use features, the value price cannot be matched. I enjoy taking pictures and experiment on lighting and effects so this Sony camera is fun to use. Although, in my opinion, the Sony Alpha 10.
Excerpt: This camera is wonderful. It has every possible feature imaginable. You can zoom, crop, share and the list goes on. It is a little difficult to use for the tecnically challenged. I got my pictures developed and was amazed to see how clear and precise the images were.
Excerpt: I can't add much to what has already been said. This is a great DSLR and a very good camera for Minolta film camera users that have an investment in alpha-mount lenses (the film camera lenses work GREAT with the digital camera). This camera can satisfy both the first time DSLR user and the "pro". Only caveat is that I would suggest no less than a 2Gb memory card. Trust me on this!
Excerpt: I bought my Sony a100 digital camera roughly 5 years ago and it is still going strong. Originially I was unwilling to give up my 35mm camera but decided to give digitial a try. It was one of the best moves I have ever made. I no longer have to purchase film or pay to have it developed, which saves me tons of money. The best part, depending on my card size, I have an unlimited number of photos that I can take, which when I am at a photo shoot, can mean a lot.
A great camera for a serious hobbiest or a budding professional.

Excerpt: The Sony Alpha100 digital camera is the best combination of Konica Minolta's camera expertise and Sony's technological know-how. The body is very solid and has a large, comfortable hand grip. It's has a good weight that feels steady in your hand, but isn't too heavy for the neck strap. The lense mount will accept any of the older Type-A Minolta lenses, greatly increasing your lense options without blowing your budget. There are no overly complicated menu options.
Excerpt: Absolutely LOVE this camera...next thing on my list is the zoom lens that goes with it! Pics come out great. love the software that comes with it...very manageable! I like that I can zoom and crop pics and they still come out great!!! The quality and detail of the pics is outstanding.
Awesome quality, ease of use, style an all around great camera

Excerpt: This is one of the easiest cameras to use that I have ever owned. It is also one of the most fun to create different pictures with. Coming with a very nice lens up to 70mm built in flash it also allows one to adjust the ISO settings. The burst feature is especially nice for action shots such as sports events, dance recitals or simply kids who move very fast. Unlike many one does not have to use the flash each time but can select when you wish to do so.
Excerpt: Okay, it took a while to convince myself that I needed a digital camera. As a long time Minolta user I found the switch to Sony almost seamless. I love the features on the camera. It is very easy to use and the pictures are crisp and viberant. I have been using this for a few years now and absolutely love it. As others have stated all of my Minolta lenses fit my Sony a100. Great feature.
