It's ok but glitchy

Summary: This camera has focus problems, and it has issues reading the memory card more often than it should. My friend has the same camera and she's also had the problem where it will not read your memory card & claims you have no pictures (giving you a heart attack if you've been on vacation for weeks) until you plug it in your computer and realize your pics are all there.
Summary: The battery must be defective because after charging it twice according to directions, the camera lasted for 1-3 shots taken in succession then just turned off. No real help from original seller, Amazon won't replace, only return this type of item. Since I purchased it using "points", I assumed a nightmare to execute an exchange so had to return it to Sony for warranty repair/replacement. Very inconvenient and annoying!!
Summary: It may very well be my photography ability, but this camera takes pictures that are nothing more than ordinary. It fits the bill for a need for a camera, but if you are looking for something to take GREAT shots with, this is not the camera.
Summary: Photographs are nice, good quality color and is easy to use. In my first trip using this camera and handling it VERY carefully the LCD panel started to go bad, lost its brightness and now is going white, a horizontal line across the display started getting more visible. VERY annoying, its like pointing in a very foggy day!! Returned it.
Great, but stopped charging after a month. Had to ship for repair!

Summary: I got this camera as a birthday/Christmas gift and loved it! It has tons of features and a great zoom, which is what I really need for pictures of animals! Con: Camera would not charge after about a month. I had to ship to the repair center ($10) and wait for it to come back (15 days total). Now it works great though, and they sent me 2 new chargers. (I had to call and ask for them) Con: I can't figure out for to get video to my computer.
Poor battery life, wish I had my old Canon back...

Summary: My sweet husband bought me this camera for Xmas 5 months ago, replacing my 7 (?) yr old Canon SD1000 point and shoot. I like to take spontaneous shots of the kids and while on trips. Good points: - it fits in my pocket (though it's no smaller than my old Canon). - Several cool options for photo effects, like oil painting effect, Instagram look, etc. - I haven't had the lens problem that others have had. Bad: - AWFUL battery life.
Summary: For the most part, I love this little camera for shots when I don't need flash, but when I do, every image is washed out bright, it really ruins pics. I wish Sony would adjust this in the auto intelligent mode! I am now shopping for another camera and I have only had this one for a year.
Summary: Whenever there is any pressure on the top of the camera near the power button it turns on or off. You don't even have to actually touch the button. It's always tuning on in my bag and then the battery is dead when I want to use it. :-( The playback button is also another big problem. Any touch and it turns on.
