Excerpt: Used this camera ONE time. I took about 40+ pictures most of which were very nice. However, next time I went to use the camera, it wouldn't open, kept showing an error message. Estimated cost to fix the mechanism, almost as much as a new camera, plus no guarantee it wouldn't happen again.
Summary: This camera is very expensive and not worth it at all! It is very complicated. It has never worked good since I first got it. I have had nothing but problems with it and Play Memories For Me. But you have to download Play Memories in order to install the pictures you take with it.
Summary: I've used my iPhone4 as my camera for years as I've no need for a "real" camera. Then I got married and have a honeymoon coming up. I wanted a decent camera to capture the special event. I read online reviews and comparisons and this Sony came top rated.
Takes lousy pictures. Very blah, with very little zip of any type. Skip this dog.

Summary: This takes some pretty lousy pictures. I had the wx300, which I gave to my son, and decided to upgrade. Not even in the same league. Taking pictures with any type of light points in them will cause and orb and red streaks to appear. Pictures are very blah, lacking any type of zip.
Summary: Started out taking good photos, but after having it for a few months, it does not take good photos at all. Action shots are blurry and flash makes people look either too white or orangey. Very disappointed.
Summary: Unbelievably difficult wifi/transfer. This is the most frustrating piece of technology I've encountered in quite a while. What should be a simple thing has been bloated and complicated beyond belief by Sony.
Summary: Ordered kit cam quickly enough. I have had two prior Sony point and shoot cameras. The documentation with this camera is awful. I used the printed guide as well as the online help guide and after 3 hours still could not get the wireless transfer of photos to work.
