An affordable, functional camera that will do what you need and more
18 July 2014
Summary: After an ex decided to help himself to a significantly more expensive camera I owned in the process of a breakup, I replaced it with this puppy. It's affordable, does the job, does not require reading instructions if you are at all tech savvy, and all of my pictures and videos turn out better than expected. Love it. Great for travel. I've had it 2 years now and it still holds up. No complaints.
Summary: This was purchased to replace a similar Sony that we had for a few tears and did not survive several "drops." The first camera was for my wife to have a point and shoot experience and not have to work with my more complicated camera. Guess what - I got hooked on that one, and this replacement is fantastic. In the past 2 years we have been to National Parks in the U.S., spent 2 weeks in France and basically now have it with us all the time.
Summary: I am using this camera to keep memories of our family trips. We went to Europe and when I asked to other hotel guests to take a picture of the family, they frequently asked: Where did you buy this beautiful camera?. It's very little (light) and very thin, but the picture quality is superb. I used to carry a Panasonic with me at least 5 years ago, but I decided to change when I read about the capabilities of this cybershot. My favorite?
Summary: I went on a photo shoot yesterday with a friend and he used a pricey Nikon D3100 and I used the Cyer-shot. I just downloaded the pics and you cannot tell the difference in the pics! I love it! I scuba dive and may get the housing for underwater shots it's so good!
Summary: This is a wonderful camera. The pictures are so good, that a family member used the photos of artwork to post on a site that sold his paintings. The site uses these photos to sell prints of the artwork.
Summary: Takes great pictures although response time could be better. Wife loves it so I guess that's what counts. I would recommend to anyone trying to take pictures in non-sport or fast moving conditions (unless the fast moving stuff is in bright sunlight).
Summary: I usually use my smartphone for pictures and videos but purchased this camera for our trip to Disney World. I was so glad I did as the quality is much better than what I get from my phone. Very easy to use.
Summary: I bought it, I like or it works for me or the recipient of the item or it makes the college students in the family happy. Nothing profound or lyrical – whatever I bought, it does what I want it to do.
