Summary: I was pretty upset that I paid for expedited shipping and it didn't arrive to me in time, but other than that, but other than that the camera was in working condition. A bit more scratched than I'd hoped.
Summary: . Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W530 14.1 MP Digital Still Camera with Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 4x Wide-Angle Optical Zoom Lens and 2.7-inch LCD (Blue) I'll be back later to discuss the quality of the camera, and the prints you can get with it. Today, however, I'll only mention usability. Now, it may be that "Easy-To-Use" camera are no longer made. If that's the case, my remarks will seem bizarre and a trifle crotchety (Well, I'm entitled, I'm old enough).
Summary: I bought this camera out of desperation because I broke my Cannon. This camera is small and lightweight, easy to use, and pretty basic. The two things I dislike about this camera are 1) some of my images are distorted, very unnatural warp of the edges of the photos and 2) the flash is horrid. I have had Sony models before and the same exact sorry flash hasn't changed a bit.
Summary: I did a bit of research before picking which camera to buy but apparently not enough. Granted this is a very cheap camera but I was disappointed by how deformed the pictures are near the edges and how some of the colors are so saturated.
Summary: My wife likes the camera and i do more but she's upset because it doesn't have the black and white option or sepia. She really likes black and white pictures sometimes but i really like the panoramic shooting and the smile detection. Am glad i got it for her. She used to and still does own it and she keeps having problems with them so I wanted to spend a lil more to get a better one and it's worth the price.
Summary: When I bought this camera, I read reviews and researched quite a bit before buying. I should have listened to the people who said this camera was not all that great! For all the hype that the description gives, it's really not all that great. I was replacing a Canon point and shoot that had an aperture malfunction and I guess once you go Canon, you never go back! This one just doesn't live up to my Canon.
Summary: I received this camera as a gift after my Cannon A2000IS died. It is very small, which is nice unless you have large hands or arthritic hands. It takes nice photos in general, and the advanced features make switching between modes amazing, although it takes getting use to. I am not impressed with the indoor photos that need flash, however. I do not like the heavy yellow tone the flash seems to leave. The flash also leaves the subject overexposed.
