The Sony DSC-W180 comes with 10.1-megapixels CCD sensor, 3x optical zoom lens with wide angles viewing of 35mm–105mm equivalent in 35mm, 1/2.3-inch optical sensor size, built-in flash combined with Super SteadyShot optical image stabilization to capture action at a distance. It also features a 2.7-inch clear photo LCD screen with 230,000-pixels resolution, plus also provides higher shutter speeds of up to 1/8 - 1/2,000 (auto) or 1-inch - 1/2,000 (program auto) with predictive continuous auto-focusing enabling quick focus of capturing fast-moving subjects with minimal shutter lag. It also has the new intelligent scene recognition (iSCN) technology, which allows the camera to automatically select the optimal scene mode for a variety shooting situations and also equipped with Sony’s Face Detection Technology which allows user to auto-adjust its focus, exposure, white balance or even controlling its flash control of multi-faces using a single shot. The device supports JPEG and AVI file format, plus also enables user to record video with its recording mode of QVGA 320-by-240 in 30fps. Its AF area selection also includes the 9 area Multi-Point AF, Centre AF area, Focus Preset (0.5m, 1.0m, 3.0m, 7.0m, or Unlimited Distance) and Auto Focus Mode Single AF. The DSC-W180 supports a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed and for storage capabilities it is compatible with Memory Stick Duo Pro Duo (High Speed), Memory Stick Duo, and Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo cards. It is also compatible with Picture Motion Browser, OS compatible with Microsoft Windows Vista, 2000 Professional, Me, XP Home and Professional, Macintosh OS 9.1/9.2/OS X (10.0-10.5). It is powered by the Lithium-ion (NP-BK1) rechargeable battery and when fully charged, it is sufficient to power the device up to 290 shots or 145 minutes. It measures at 54.5mm in height, 93.4mm in width, 18.7mm in depth and weighs in at 118gram.

My sony camera can not save pictures in MemoryCard.. it take snaps as usual. but pictures cannot be saved in memory stick,,, i hav change 2,3 cards,, butt problem are still.............

This thing take's terrible photos! They are blurry and sometimes make subjects look oily. Indoors the photos come out with a yellow tint or too dark. Outside the photos were more acceptable. When I take the photo and want to see it in the LSD screen they look great but as soon as I export them the photo is unacceptable.
