Good for Children

Helen Woideck, Amazon
19 January 2014
  • Summary: We bought the camera instead of buying a childs camera. Childrens cameras get bad reviews. We set the camera up for point and shoot for a five year old. Downloading isn't a problem either. It is too early for Photoshop.

arrived broken and inoperable

Emily Shaw, Amazon
13 June 2013
  • Summary: I've had this camera before and loved it, but mine has suffered a hard life. I thought I would purchase a used model on Amazon, but it arrived broken and inoperable. That is completely inexcusable from a seller.

Sony Cybershot with a Viewfinder Camera

M. Ryback, Amazon
31 March 2013
  • Summary: Everyone forgets that this little camera has a viewfinder. That's my main reason for choosing this camera along with the fact that it takes good pictures w/o a flash in places that don't allow flash, i.e. museums, concerts (when you are sneaking in a camera that is). Oh and the audio for the vids is very good (it's a SONY!) it should be.

  • Excerpt: I have had nothing but trouble with my sony camera, the shutter would get jammed when turning it on so i went online to see what i could do to fix it because it would say on screen to turn camera off and on again, but do nothing. i read that many others have had same issues with theres and maybe try to air compress it gently to get any dirt/dust out. well i did that and it worked for a few days..

I think this cameras great it has a setting with no flash and thats the one i mostly use because my son is only a month old and he hates the flash. It also has a smile shutter which is great it takes the picture when you smile. Also it has a timer that you can set it so you can take family portraits.

  • Excerpt: This is one awesome little camera for the price. Many great options to go through. I love the shutter option for trying to catch lightning when its storming =) I take pictures of EVERYTHING from my plants and animals to my kids and anything in between. LOL I got the camera two years ago after i lost mine in a tornado. It has been through heck.

Cybershot w120 Is perfect...for now.

hermosa12, Viewpoints
9 September 2012
  • Excerpt: The attractive, metal W120 is available in black, silver, blue, and pink versions. Curiously, the step-up W130 only comes in silver, black, and pink. The inch-thick camera weighs just 5.4 ounces with battery and Memory Stick Duo card, and slips easily into most pockets. On the backside of the camera, a 2.5-inch LCD leaves room for a small optical viewfinder, a mode dial, and a handful of buttons.
