bad surprise

rosa luna, Amazon
19 August 2008
  • Summary: I am very upset, not to say the least. I have had this camera for 7 months and it is already broken. There was no rough handling or else, I was taking pictures and the screen started shaking, then all the photos I took were ruined. I am happy it is not anymore available on your website, please do not sell it anymore. More, it is very difficult to fix, even impossible.

Great little snap taker

double_a7, Ciao
14 October 2005
  • Excerpt: "Great little camera for snaps. The best thing about it is that is tiny but doesn't compromise on picture quality. This camera is about as long as your finger and as wide as two - it will slip easily into your jeans pocket. Drawback is there is no viewfinder so using the lcd screen is a little awkward sometimes. It has the ability to take mpeg video as well but no sound unfortunately. It is really easy to use - the menu's are self explanatory. Comes ...
  • Pros: Really compact, good quality for size
  • Cons: No viewfinder,no zoom

Mr Christopher Pascoe, Amazon
7 August 2005
  • Summary: I purchased this camera for my wifes Christmas present, predominately to the size and quality of the camera. It has proven to be an extremely versitile camera, come video and has been used in several countries throughout the world, producing superb images. Extremely high recommendation.

Sony can't get away with overpricing

theenglis..., Ciao
8 July 2005
  • Excerpt: "Firstly, why have i got this camera? it was a gift. Otherwise, i wouldn't have bought it. it is just way too over priced at £120. If you can afford it, then by all means i would recommend it, but for the price, it is a little bit ridiculous. Noticeably, this camera is absolutely tiny, probably the smallest DECENT camera on the market. there are other cameras availble that are smaller, but not quite as good quality. Measuring at 83 x 39 x 26mm, ...
  • Pros: Absolutely puny, eyecatcher
  • Cons: Way overpriced, no zoom, measely bundled card

Digital camera's - Sony Cyber Shot converted me

Nightstar..., Ciao
30 March 2005
  • Excerpt: "This camera was bought for me as a present - I would not have chose to buy a digital, but I am so glad I received it as a present. Although it may seem expensive for such a small little thing - its worth it belive me. It cost around £120 to buy (although this did involve my fiancee's staff discount). This camerais worth every penny, although I was at first scared to take it out incase I dropped it and broke it! As you will see further in the review ...
  • Pros: Its tiny, cute and very handy for your handbag/pocket !
  • Cons: The screen is a little small

Brilliant

"marklidgett", Amazon
12 October 2004
  • Summary: I never used to like taking photos until I brought this fantastic little camera. Now the cat can't move without a shot being taken. It is easy to use and so small that you can carry it around in a pocket or bag. The batteries last a long time. However I do recommend that you buy an extra set as you'll have to wait for them to recharge. Extra rechargable batteries are a bit expensive just for 2 AAA's but the 'proper' Sony ones do seem to last longer than cheaper ones.

Compact and Useful Camera

skrg28, Ciao
4 October 2004
  • Excerpt: "As expected from Sony this camera is of high quality and design. It is easy to use in every way yet still contains all the necessary features to take some quality photos. The small viewing screen is a little small but still provides the necessary ease of access to the camera functions. Its small size also helps save valuable battery life. In all the times I have used this I have never run out of power. The front slider provides easy protection for ...

Exceptional Small Camera

S. Conrad "Steve C", Amazon
7 July 2004
  • Summary: Sony have done it again with another updated version of the original DSC-U10. Again this camera is exceptional at taking snaps - the 1280x1024 images are fine for 6x4 printing out. I found that this camera takes 'quick' photos better than my more expensive camera because it reacts to the light conditions so much faster. The sony has taken the photo before my other camera has finished checking the exposure. Size and build ooze quality.

A perfect carry around camera!

"marklidgett", Amazon
3 June 2004
  • Summary: When considering buying a camera the main thought at the back of my mind was; "Is the camera small enough for me to carry around?". If it was not then in my eyes there was no point buying it as I never wanted to miss a photo oppurtunity. I can take this camera out with me anywhere and dont get pulled down with a bulky design. The sony camera is even smaller than it looks in the picture, an engineering miricle!
